Pls o my people, good morning. Pls I need urgent response to my questions o. Iam planning on buying a land in an estate in ibadan, but iam based in ilorin, what is your view ? Also, all these estate lands, can we say they are free from qovt acquisitions or all these omo oniles at the future ? Is an estate land a good property to buy ? And moreso, what does it mean by "Government chatting certificate" ? Also what are the necessary things I need to do or certificates I need to get to be free from all the wahalas and problems associated with land? Pls help a sister out, as I don't know much about land biko o. Thanks. |

Adedward: Pls do u know ibadan well ? Sweet estate in ib around Moniya, 15 mins drive from Moniya and 6 mins drive from new railway line, along ibadan-iseyin expressway. They said the land is by the express road, I have not been there though, but that's how they described it. They don't have protocol as such, they just said only graveyard is prohibited, but asides that, nothing more. |

Adebowale1616: I don't think you should rush to buy land. Please get some education about land issues first. You could read up @lawyer's old posts. They are relevant. With the knowledge you'd have gained you'd be equipped to review land deals and avoid losing your money. 1 Like |

Adebowale1616:Are u from Ibadan? Estate land is safe, just ensure it is one with a good repute. But the disadvantage is that your building design can be restricted to a particular one, that is what they do here in abuja. If you are buying non estate land, just look for genuine land dealers. Reason i asked if u are from ibadan, your people should be able to recommend one. |

Adebowale1616: i know the route, there is no express road there, just iseyin/saki road, after moniya around Alabata village. the railway line is at Ajibade oloshoko, not far from Kings college. i can help you with some pictures if i pass the route before monday. Good morning all, Pls I need your contributions. Which is more durable between aluminum roofing and abestos? I am planning to use the new design colored abestos they sell 1600# per 1. I have a quotation of 800k for abestos including inside ceilings I have a quotation of 1m50k for aluminum step tiles (without inside ceiling) I have a quotation of 1m350 for stone coated roofing (without inside ceiling) I am eyeing the abestos to save cost and use the remaining money for another thing. I need your contributions pls  |

jabolo: segzy14: Thanks for your swift response sir's, I have read a lot about abestos and it's only risky if it's broken which will therefore release fiber to the air and that can be harmful if inhale. But there is nothing if it's not damaged or broken. We have lived for decades in an abestos house and we still live strong and healthy. Using abestos doesn't automatically means you will have lung cancer, ( there is precautions) please let's try and research more about abestos  Abestos is still everywhere in the market and people are still using it. Pls let's talk about the DURABILITY between aluminum and abestos. 2 Likes |
