H2Ossss: Oga, a lot of companies are culpable of non remittance of Pension in Nigeria despite deductions. How many of these companies eventually remit the accrued pension when the liquidity challenge is resolved? Do they remit the accrued Pension with interest? Stop making excuses for such offences. We all know that once they start defaulting, the chances that they will eventually remit the pension becomes slim. 3 Likes |

A lot of yahoo yahoo employer in this country but they will never sing am l a yahoo company This is third year my boss kept promising to remit our pension. I called my PFA to take it up from their end, they kept saying story. One of the staff that took the case up codedly some years back was stylishly sacked after six month using one useless excuse. The guy is still locking for job. I think the best way employee can report is for government/servicomm to create app where employee can report (not using email that is traceable) 1 Like 1 Share |

Please do you have others in your company who share the same burden? Though you did not state the name of your company and hope your real identity online is not known. Please get in touch with those affected in your company with sufficient proof(s) and seek the advice of a lawyer. Many have lost their jobs trying to fight their company for their rights. I'm in no way telling you to chicken out but apply wisdom in all your dealings. Even those who you might think are at the pencom office are also fraudsters. Companies have been known to bribe pencom staffs in such matters. Try to get in touch with the right person. |

I don't know where you are. If you are in Lagos, just go to Alausa, ask of human rights office, when you get there lay your complain. They will ask you to write a petition and bring 5 copies. After which they will invite you and the employer for settlement. The people typing the petition at Alausa collect 1k and 500. I paid 500 to type my own there and make photo copies of the rest. their photocopies cost #20 each. They also collect 1k from me for tfare to deliver the letter to my employer. my employer received the letter yesterday and he has been saying funny things. I want to create a thread here on nairaland and upload his WhatsApp messages. he is so frustrated now. I already have a lawyer o....u will not have to pay for a lawyer... I wish you all the best |

Diff companies, diff payment method... Mine remits when they like but its sequential. Only 2 months have dropped this years so far. I heard sometimes dey remit lumpsum to the pfa... Maybe they're using the money to hold their side. My consolation is the monthly pension is more than 2x of my previous job. |
