Genius43, that Gcam you're dropping for Redmi 7 users.
I've used it for a while now, it does its job, it's very sharp and clear, better than default cam (as usual).

But it has a bug that prevents it from taking pictures at times, the shutter clicks but nothing is captured no matter how many times you try, in such times the only immediate solution is to uninstall and reinstall, clearing data hardly works.
At other times it's very slow, especially when on HDR+, and to be honest it only captures great images when you turn HDR+ on so it's like it's almost unavoidable.

I just want to beg you to still be on the look out please, if you find another version of Gcam for the redmi 7, I'd appreciate.

Genius43, here's an update.

I updated the phone two nights ago and it seems the Gcam is a bit more stable now.

It hasn't given me much issues again, let me be observing it.

I've changed phone, but on rn5, you need to flash a patch by nhappymann. Front camera even works in gcam 6 now for rn5, once you get the developer targeting your phone it's easy

None worked for Google play store... That's why I looked for other way round... So don't judge when you don't know what happened...

The camera out of box seems to be grainy, updated about 664MB, reset and set up again camera became better, Screen Flash work for selfie in low light..

Netflix work in HD, didn't notice screen bleed at the notch area,
SD 660 for 66,900 is a steal.

I don't even think I disabled anything but I've not seen any add either on the redmi 7 or note 7

there is limit to ads pop up on Nigeria region. but ads still pop up for some apps(Mi broswer) even if you disable it, if you choose India Region
