It becomes immortal. Others have to procreate so that their name lives on for at least another generation and hope their children continue the lineage. Short leaps in time. Why do that when you can do better?

If marriage is sweet, enjoy it by yourself. Leave people who don't want to alone. The food you like can make another person purge.
