Those stuffs or whatever were never from God.
They were already developed traditions of the jews developed by their forefathers and they were very determined to keep their traditions(bad or good) and God who maintains free will was not ready to force them do otherwise.
But when the consequences of keeping wrong traditions comes they will suffer it. That is life for you
the final authority is LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOUR AS YOURSELF.
The bible is just a book containing history

See, to understand this, lets steak to simple rule of identity.
1.God isn't the bible.
2.The word of God isn't the whole bible. Rather, the bible contains the word of God.
3.it is now left for any intelligent christian to eat the orange juice and discard the peels or shafts, less he get chocked taking everything

That is because they were already determined to keep everything.

Its like someone has made up his mind to do a particular bad thing which his father cannot force him to stop doing it. So his father says, since you have made up your mind let me read out other good things you should do in line with this your bad thing you have made up your mind to do.
So he reads them out and speak.
He speaks of the bad things as well as the good things.
Do them, since you have made up your mind.

But do not come to me running for help when the consequences of including those bad things come.

I believe mankind was still very much primitive and they were learning at the time, sometimes they have to learn in the hard way

Paxonel seems to be an intelligent Christian. I use the word 'intelligent' because the Bible should be followed with intelligence.

Nevertheless, no Nigerian Christian would like to obey the processes written in Leviticus.

I have also learned that most of the intelligent atheists I know, don't have the time to argue on any religion. And if you tend to be an atheist, arguing on what the Bible says or Christianity shows how shaky your own personal belief is.

Just hang your own lane and help humanity like Bill Gates and Co. Don't waste your time arguing on something you have personally tagged 'bunkum'. Use your time wisely. Humanity needs you more than ever.

1.Love God with your heart
2. Love your neighbour as yourself
That is the word of God.
Anything outside that(bad or good) you see in the bible are human inventions .
