Just go to your state WAEC office and apply, go with your slip(the registration section you cut out from your form), you pay 10,000naira.

My own was the day and month that was affected. I got a court affidavit and that is what I've been using since.

You will write through your school to WEAC with the Affidavit with a payment of 10k. The old one will be collected back and a new one will be issued within six months.

Waec had stopped date of birth correction since 2017.

Guy my neco wey I write in 2010 is the correct year, and it's younger than the Gce, my jamb I wrote in 2011 has the correct date of birth, where he should write 9 he wrote 8

Just go for court affidavit. I had a similar issue about 19 years ago. I never took it seriously until 9 years ago when I wanted to use it for my master's program. But N200 court affidavit saved me.

Wanted to correct mine back in 2006, WAEC official out of frustration, I guess just said.. Can't be corrected.

I believe it can be corrected. Haven't tried again though since it never affected any application

I had same problem in my GCE result. I was told to present a police report, affidavit from court, present my birth certificate (not age declaration o), photo copies of original registration forms, copy of passport photo graph as on the registration form (if still available), a fee of 25,000naira. Your submitted documents will then be sent to Abuja for verification and further actions which may take 60years to conclude......my dear it's a very very long and tiring process. Luckily I did not need it desperately, I just wanted it for keep, I already had my complete result in WAEC.

IT IS POSSIBLE..I HAD A DOB ISSUE ON MY WAEC CERTIFICATE..IT WAS CORRECTED BUT IT TAKES 6 MONTHS

It maybe difficult, what people do change is error in their names, maybe you locate the officer where you wrote the exam.

Bro, it can't be corrected considering the fact that the organization issue only one original copy of your cert. Any correction will prompt them giving out another original copy, which is not possible... the only help to his problem is court Affidavit... thanks

Visit a waec office..it requires affidavit and a letter from you to Abuja...the correct takes 6 months

it's not always easy shaa and it takes time but thank God my situation made me to learn the easier way.
if it's just date of birth, then u will have to pay about 20k and get it corrected in two days in Lagos.
for name, I don't think it's possible.

I dont have a birth certificate too.It was all carted away by armed robbers.But I've an affidavit from the court for all the stolen documents.
But please how I do go about getting a letter from waec?

I heard some of the requirements from waec has changed, I will advise you get to any waec office close to you and get their latest requirements, you may be lucky they have waved some things. Mine was four years ago.
