men i'm just checking ndidi's stats in comparison to other top 6 defensive midfielders how this guy is not being raved about is really surprising. defensively he completely eclipses most of them. even in the attacking stats for a DM he's up there. just his passing needs more work 79.85% completion rate which is not bad for a decent midfielder but the good to great ones are doing 82% plus on average

The top teams don't need to defend most of the time, that's when your passing capabilities are asked of you

i agree with the rest except for ndidi and chukwueze little bit.

sam can still improve with better coaching

as for Ndidi dude is a defensive midfield machine it's not his job to be creative. he should just continue to be great at shielding defences and breaking up play

darkelf:

None. Man of them have so obvious weaknesses that is antithetical to their progress as footballers.

Ndidi: Creativity and passing

Sam chukwueze: Finishing get K-leg

Iwobi: Too lackadaisical

Eking: One dimensional thinker, parochial play

Onuachu: just starting to get noticed

Moses: Attitude problem

Ya, but most top sides would want him if he improves his passing

Imagine common Idrissa Gueye is wanted by Psg because he has average passing abilities

Taiwo had a great career but faded at the time when he was supposed to be getting to his best. By 2011, when taiwo was supposed be just 26, he started to fade. He was no longer the same player. That is usually when players hit their best.

He is still playing retirement football in Finland.

Obasi was seriously hampered by injury.

Taiwo didn't fade away at 26. In the same 2011, Taiwo captained Olympic Marseille to win French cup, Taiwo made Ligue 1 team of the season, CAF best 11 and even joined Ac Milan despite Marseille wanted him to stay.

Taiwo played in the EPL and Seria A in 2012.

But you said Mikel Obi is still playing at top level.

Is Championship better than EPL?

Taiwo didn't fade away at 26, rather many club wanted him because he was the best African LB in the world in 2011. That was for the third time.

Ekong is better than Lenglet.
Forget what Sarri did to him, VicMo can play RWB for both FCB and Real Madrid.
On current form, Ndidi is better than both Casemiro and Busquets (Busquets legs are gone).
Both Alex Iwobi and Sammy are good enough to play for either teams but maybe not as a starter.

Ekong is better than lenglet ? Lol

Ekong will not even bench mandi or batra at real betis you are here saying better than lenglet

Clap for your self

Take your useless ratings out of here, You are comparing Paul Onuachu an established striker to Awoniyi a player who has been playing on loan for seasons

Let Awoniyi cement his place in the U23 before talking of the senior team

Is Osimhen not on loan?

Has Onyekuru not been playing on loan?

Is Paul better than them? grin

Senior team is for any player that distinguishes himself in a top league. The last time I checked Belgium league is far better than Denmark league.

Anyway, don't be afraid, I didn't write that for Awoniyi to take Paul's position. grin

It's just for you to know how good they are. grin

I wish Paul can get a decent club in Belgium or France to show himself.

This is not exactly true for other countries.

Yes, not everyone will be at national team level but several play at a good level and retire. For instance, a former england youth international can play in the Championship all his career without being good enough for the national team.

In our case, it is easier for ex youth international to play at national team level because of a lack of an established league that throws up talent all the time. Many of our players fade when they are supposed to be getting to their best. Even the ones that had a very good start and even career. In 5-8 years, you imagine these guys should at their best but they are getting ready to retire.

My brother that is why we are not at the same level as the France, Brazil, England, Spain, Germany of this world.

But I can still tell you that the Nigerian Youth system has produced a very good number of superstars. We are not there yet but we are not the worst in the world. grin

My own is for the national teams to create an excellent scouting system for us to better optimise the relatively few mother nature has churned out to us. smiley

He can be bought and loaned while the club will try to work on it

Which of our player can be bought by Real Madrid and Barcelona?

Taiwo was one of Africa's best left back so when i say he started a decline, it is against that statement.

Taiwo had a good 2010-2011 season but he started his fade in the 2011/2012 season. (Note: I said, it started. he was not completely finished) His premier league showing was not close to his high standards and by the time he went to Ukraine the next season, his stats showed significant drop. He used to get 4-5 goals in Marseille at least. He could not score a single 1 in the Ukrainian league.

By 2014-2015, When he was supposed to be 29/30. He could not make his turkish team starting line-up and was sold to Finland.

Why was trying to set the bar high for Ajagun when none of our players can be bought by those two clubs?

Judging from the game against Manchester City, Ndidi will not stay in that club after next season if he continues to improve on his passing ability.

Chuks is one in a million. I expected a long list.

I doubt it, but I hope it's true. But I am not holding my breath, the Barca board is useless. They would be wasting their time chasing a prima donna like Antoine Griezemann … or Lacazette and Marcus Rashford instead of searching for a talented youngster.

I sent an email to Chairman Bartomeu yesterday to recommend that instead of pursuing Griezemann who doesn't want to play for Barca, the board should rather look into signing Gabriel Jesus. But I don't expect them to do anything with my suggestion anyway, before you know it they'd be paying $350m to sign Griezemann shocked

Please remove lacazette near the name of rashford

Lacazette is a world class player

Dude is good
