Beorn:

Let me tell you a story. Real shit_. Not kidding.

When I became enlightened and decided not to follow the hordes of intolerant bigots hating on gays, one day we're about 10 guys gisting, then somehow the issue of gays came up and one of my friends ignorantly said that gay is caused by possession of evil spirit, and what gays needed were deliverance. I was speechless. Speechless because a human being with a certificate from university could think like a dolt.

I asked him what of those who that are born with one deformity or the other? What about those born autistic? Since they're not born in a normal condition, Which type of demons were possessing them? That how man gays have pastors cured? He started using religious angle to prove gays are evil and sinners before God. I asked him, what of him that have lied, slept with several women outside marriage etc, didn't the Bible condemn it as sin as well?

I started exposing his hypocrisy, reminding him of how he's not different from those slave traders and whites that have discriminated against us, na em the bobo provoke. In short my friends joined him in doubting if I was still straight. Some of them accused me there of changing from heterosexual to homosexual. Like, how can Beorn dump the sweet pussy for a butt hole? Lol.

Long story short, I stood my ground and one of them who was cultist nearly stabbed me. He warned me that if I ever defend those "demons" in his presence, he'll fuvk me up. I had to back down before some vile hediot takes my life simply because he met a superior logic.

So don't be surprised that people are liking his distasteful reasoning. They're much worse offline. Being gay or defending homosexuals would get you killed in this country.

It's serious. Defending gay offline is a way deadly game. Be mindful of the bigots you debate it with offline.

P.S: Don't blast my religion (Christianity) for the ignorance of the dude. He's just simply dumb, it has nothing to do with Christianity. I'm a Christian but not an intolerant bigot.

Well said.

However, you share a religion with many toxic people. How do you still remain in a religion where most people are like the homophobes on this thread?

It's rare to see an atheist homophobe. In the case of alexistaiwo, his problem is that he is unexposed. Cant blame a villager for being a villager. But at least, he kept quiet when faced with hard logic. There is hope for him grin

Alita: Battle Angel

I felt like I was watching Avatar at times, yup, the visuals were that good. The script is typical James Cameron; cliche, serviceable and decent characterization. The worldbuilding is amazing. The action is bonkers. Where the basic and predictable story fails, the visuals and action sequences make up for it. It's really a very stylish film and a worthy adaptation of the manga source material.

Overall, it suffered from the uneven pacing and soundtracks, but the visual storytelling was overwhelming, and ultimately wins over a problematic script.

7.1/10

Most of the time, I antagonise you out of habit because after all said and done, you are still one of the most stupid persons around here.

Wetin concern me with this issue?
Since I am feeling charitable this afternoon, let me indulge your foolishness.

I didn't join in the argument because any educated person knows that there will always be people in the other line of the homosexuality divide, so it is futile trying to force your perspective down the others throat.

Unlike your hardcore brand of atheism, I am a free thinker.
I am the most enjoyable person to try to convert to your religion because I will listen to you and go ahead to tell you why I can't follow your god.

I like Jesus because his teachings make sense but you can never catch me praying in his name.

I detest Prophet Muhammad (SAW) because of his intelorance and radical teachings.

I like Buddha for his live and let's live approach to life.

I like Zeus, Odin, Thor, Athena and Sango and countless others.

Yet I worship none.

I have some male and female acquaintances I have strong reasons to believe they are gay and I have some who are open about their sexuality.
That has never influenced my dealings with them.

You can fvck whatever gender you want and worship whatever you like as long as you stay out of my way and business.

10 BEST VISUALLY STUNNING MOVIES OF THEIR GENERATION

- Avatar: James Cameron has made it virtually his job to elevate the technology of CGI, and with "Avatar" he set a bar that is yet to be surpassed.
- Jurassic Park (1993): This CGI used in this movie was so well ahead of it's time that it can still pass muster even today.
- Lord of The Rings trilogy: The visuals were an incredible elevation of the technology.
- 300: This Zack Snyder-directed movie showed how to bring a new aesthetic to the action genre. Unsurprisingly, it's been imitated countless times.
- Matrix: The visuals were very unique, and have changed how action movies are shot now.
- Avengers: Infinity War: Stunning visuals. A gold standard for superhero movies
- Alita: Battle Angel: Another James Cameron footprint. He may not have directed, but his technology was used.
- Terminator: Judgement Day: James Cameron used this film to change the game on what CGI characters could do in a film.
- Edge of Tomorrow: With a whole lot of destruction-focused CGI, this film was very visually dazzling.
- Minority Report: Spielberg used CGI in this film to present a future involving technology that would likely be in our lives decades later.

A strong case can also be made for Alien, Star Wars (1979), Aquaman and Abyss. and yet I am not particularly impressed by their respective VFX. It's boils down to personal preference.

Padmaavat - 8/10

This is a Bollywood movie based on a mixture of history and fiction. Acting was on point as all the characters came correct with their roles IMO. The turn of for me was the distortion of some 'facts' from the poems and stories the movie was based. Overall I will rate far ahead movies in similar genre in the bollywood industry such as Jodha Akbar.

Murder on the Orient Express - 8/10

The only disturbing thing about this movie for me is how it is possible for the detective to know so much about the suspects without any backup informant from any office. Even a detective prepared for a case cannot be that good without supports. However, acting was on point, dialogue great and the accents were fantastic. Great story also
Bro kindly recommend more thrilling Bollywood movies to me

In fact, there have numerous times when I have trolled people who insulted me in Yoruba. I smile and point to my ears then say "ogbo Yoruba" in the best igbotic accent ever. There is always laughter from bystanders when I do it.

For someone so anti gay, you are so up to date on gay casting on TV shows.

By the way, I watch a lot of Trevor Noah on YouTube, yet I haven't come across these two gay guests you mentioned.
