But the government is responsible for providing the infrastructure needed to create a developed economy. If you look at all developed countries, one thing common is constant electricity. When the Nigerian government cannot provide light constantly, how do you expect the citizens to do for their country. If Toyota want to even build an assembly plant in Port Harcourt which will create jobs for thousands of graduates, how will such companies do so with poor electricity output? I do not blame such companies for avoiding Nigeria.

Yea, sure but its expected that the govt leads by example. With the way it has become a norm for govt office holders to squander monies meant for the development of the nation, you should not expect any elite to do anything with their hard earned resources.
And by the way, never you compared the scenario in Nigeria to that of USA, their are climes and their are very sane climes.
