Why can't people use their brains ![]() If people think a leader (Okorocha )who was building statutes all over the states and admitted few days ago that he was indeed "Crazy and Mad" and a leader sharing Kerosene in the stadium are those they should look on to, I'm afraid they are all doomed. We advocates a leader that was busy training leaders who are now Ministers, Governors, VP, Ambassadors,Directors, etc and should emulate such for their people's sake. |

NaijaRoyalty:Obviously Tinubu is the one man that can wipe all yeeebos out of existence. Is that why you detest yorubas? We love him more because he taught us to never trust yeeebos in anything. If una cant live with the man, ...........Lagoon is there. |

I believe Awlolowo have met with those 3million and explained himself before God why starving Innocent children and women was his choice of war tactics. Nigeria needs serious prayers cos the attrocities committed still hunts the country.. . |

Ethnicity shouldn't be the device for choosing our leaders in Nigeria but our electoral act should be amended to carry all along. Whichever tribe you belong or come from in as much as you are competent and qualify...you should run. But, an Hausa should only be president if s/he wins votes from from other tribes, the same goes for an Igbo or Yoruba or any other minority tribes vying for that position. We shouldn't decide our election based on the number of votes the candidates has but rather the number of votes from the different geopolitical region s/he was able to win excluding that which s/he comes from. That's: Each States of the federation is counted as 1 regardless of the population and size. Where you able to win 2/3 of that State, if yes then you won the State as 1win. The same goes for the remainder of the 36States and FCT as the decider if there's a tie. This will ensure that a candidate is accepted by all Nigerians not just a section. It will also take out tribalism. The presidential tenure should be 5years with maximum of 2-terms a president can hold office. Mid-term election should be carried out to checkmate performance. |

Princedapace:Ironically, Yaradua was the biggest joker and most visionless of them all. He alone remains the only president who signed Shariah into law (i.e. as Katsina Governor in 2000) despite the secularity of Nigeria clearly stated in the constiution which he, on his inauguration day, swore to always defend and abide by; he was guilty of so many economic policy reversals which a truly visionary wouldn't even contemplate doing let alone actually execute, he overruled Charles Soludo's visionary Naira Redenomination policy as CBN governor; he declared among his assets a national asset converted to personal property by his family; he rejected the visionary recommendations in the report of the electoral reform panel he himself set up; he reversed the visionary privatization of refineries; and lot more. So much for a visionary leader. |

Deadlytruth:With due respect, Yaradua, RIP, was completely bereft of ideas as president. He was just a nice guy who was beyond his depth as president. I have nothing against him but truth be told he was a dullard. |

MorufuAtanda:Why are you ashamed of your Igbo heritage? That is disgraceful. No matter what, NEVER deny your heritage. That is exactly why no one respects you guys in Nigeria. Even Asari insulted your entire tribe without consequence. PLEASE, for your own sake, get rid of that houseboy mentality. My best friend is Igbo and proud of it |

Deadlytruth:Nigeria generally has no remarkable leader. Like I said, be was more practical than others. He could have made mistakes. He was able to begin a process than settled the agitations in Niger delta. And that helped the country. How competent he was is not the bases of my points. My point remains that a region produced leader doesn't change anything. All Nigerians seek is a leader to solve our problems. North and west have ruled this country with nothing to show for it. |

Yoruba States don't want President anylonger and forever, but value full autonomy of Police, Resources and Election Control for themselves. |
