The kidnapping kingpin in Uyo,Akwaibom Sate was killed with his gang member of six yesterday and his buildings was demolished.

The people living inside the house were told to move out their things before the house was demolished.

The reason is clear. Considering the kind of society we live in, the lives of anyone who inhabits that sort of building would be at risk of being killed by the unknown members of the kidnappers group.

They might just appear any day with guns to unleash mayhem on whoever resides in that building...

Turn it into a police station, or a military residence

That is what I'm saying.......On the other thread that has made it to the frontpage, it was about a bridge that swallow pregnant women in Akwa ibom state....

I said bridge dont swallow people, people swallow people as a kidnapper and ritualist.....If you trace very well, you might trace out those pregnant women that were alleged to be swallowed by the bridge to this Building...

This is a good idea and it serves as a strong deterrent to would be kidnappers and other criminal elements who would think they can make money through criminal acts and enjoy it. I would propose a more far reaching and punitive measure. If a kidnapper or armed robber is caught, his house and everyone else in that compound should be put down

This would ensure all those to be affected by the criminal conducts of their relatives would even be the one to report him to the authorities knowing the implications on themselves if they dont

Anambra used a similar effort and before Peter obi left office onitsha and most part of Anambra state were rid of these evil elements

Draconian acts is what we understand in Nigeria
