nope it isn't.... snapped it with gcam portrait mode, then click edit while viewing the images from the app, you'll see color pop, just click on it.

I just wan see wetin xiaomi wan do with their redmi k20 pro, that aside self for 450$ mi 9 is a steal

you need new gcams (portrait mode pictures only) , color pop is inside google photos, you can readjust focus, change the level of background blur, editing options plenty
