bukatyne: I'm not talking about moderate effort, and I'm not talking about what kind of woman would be valued where. Please go back and read my response based upon what the initial comment was. If a woman decides to put effort into her appearance, it should be for her first and foremost, not to seek validation from someone else. Look "good"? How? In what way? What's the standard because good is subjective and means different things to different people. There are plenty of men who choose women based on looks alone. Whether they do or not, who cares? My point is women should not be and should not define themselves by what men think, want, or what they find pleasing. |

alBHAGDADI: That's not honoring a woman. That's just you wanting women to behave in a way that's pleasing to what you consider to be a woman's role. |

iRepNaija1:Omoh,u get wahala o...shooo Now u have turned everything to a man vs woman issue, which is stone cold bad. The thread is about cooking and whether u like it or not,a woman has roles...just like a man does...or u would rather have a man who can't provide for his family? That's one of a man's roles, and most often a woman takes care of the home and shares the kid-raising role with her man...unless you are talking of another ROLE entirely!! |

Oluromantic: Cooking is not our duty its not compulsory and if u claim it is then when last did you go into the forest to hint ? Don't just sit and assume a major role of a woman is to cook .This is one of the reasons y Nigeria is retrogressing refusing to see beyond traditional assumptions of things |
Re: I've Not Cooked In 8 Months - Nigerian Lady Writes by Nobody: 6:14am On May 20, 2019 |
Sarang: Just imagine ! Men will just be talking trash and stating of how they want women that can cook what sort of low mentality is this ? In this era?look at high rate of divorce and wonder what is going on .any one that wants a cook should please send for the women in their homes .rubbish |

Re: I've Not Cooked In 8 Months - Nigerian Lady Writes by luminouz(m): 7:31am On May 20, 2019 |
Mustsucceed:So the high rate of divorce is cuz men want women who can cook? Why are u getting so emotional eh? This so called ERA hasn't stopped u from looking for a man who can provide, has it? Or na jobless mofo u desire to marry I believe its about preferences. Everyone has preferences. Whether looks, money, fame or skills...you might not like cooking but some women love it,are such women trash too? Biko, take things easy o... The way these topics get NL babes off is alarming. |
