Average users don't know was around it and that's about 90% of users which will affect Huawei sales negatively

More reason why it's the company that will find a way around it and not the average users

It doesn't affect Xiaomi, Xiaomi have not broken any US regulation besides they are not officially in USA yet.

I'm very much aware of the huawei situation, Germany even released a warning that other European countries should be wary of Trump n his agenda, turns out American companies like Cisco has backdoor, this is something they couldn't find on huawei. The Android updates part is still unconfirmed yet though

From my findings It seems it'll affect only new Huawei devices. Still a shitty move if you ask me

They're just reminding smartphone manufacturers to look for a good alternative to android OS
Majority of whom are from China

Exactly. The kinda arrangement that brought about Symbian is still the best.

Am sure with this show of oppression, OEMs will reconsider introducing a unified, truly open source OS devoid of any government's influence

Exactly, this is the situation they find themselves now. They might just come up with an alternative os that can still run android apps and maybe a one click app to install Google apps
Google won't approve it

Hey guys, abeg I need good remote app that can control all these Chinese generic DVDs.

Is there any? I have one here that has LG logo but when you boot it up what shows on the screen is 'Fortune Star'.

I've tried a couple of apps, only one Akira remote managed to work but the buttons are grossly mismatched. No button controls the volume sef and that's the most important thing I need cos the DVD's volume is drastically low.

Any possible suggestions? Abeg help your boy.
Mi remote or download universal TV remote
