Hello people, I got an admission in Rhein waal 2 days ago BSC Agribusiness. My SL is not ready yet but it sure will be ready by next week, is it okay to book an appointment now? and how does one select the categories?

And I have a question to ask am about to apply to Gisma business school. And the school isn’t tuition free. I am expected to pay 2000€ after I receive my admission and then pay the balance after I arrive Germany during my study year on installments basis. So now my question is do I still require a block account as is a requirement I read here for student in Germany as regards to non-tuition schools. Also, need enlightenment from someone who knows about the school. Thank you

Yes u can....if u have scholarship cat A.....if no scholarship cat B.

You will still need Block Account. BA is to cover for 1 year of your accommodation/living expenses while in Germany. It is a mandatory requirement for every international student coming to study in Germany who does not have a scholarship or an approved Sponsor Letter. On the other hand, tuition fee is collected by the school.

Gisma Business School is accredited and recognised. Run a search on LinkedIn to connect with Nigerians currently studying in the campus. You can get in touch with them to give you first hand info. From a few I've spoken to, it's a good school, though expensive.

Please I want to ask about the requirements from a sponsor that wants to help with an SL? How much should he or she be earning monthly and other factors?

. Why don’t you put enrollment date ( start) on your visa form because the VO might ask wen is yiur skl starting ? So you tell him the ur enrollment starting date not Lecture starting date oh

this makes so much sense tho. Cancelled and registered with the semester starting date.

Rhinewaal should send you the link anytime from now then. Probably before the week runs out

embassy hasn't started AM sending yet, but I just think by July / August probably..

I got my AL from kiel 14th of May and I knew 2 other people here that got AL to kiel too this month.. Kiel has started sending AL truly.. I understand your fraustration tho.. But just be hopeful..

Yes! He missed the winter classes. So he has joined the Summer classes... When winter comes he will do the courses he missed. Oyibo schooling no be like naija own�

I got my Am 4weeks after my interview, sent my SL 5 weeks after my Am( due to some unforeseen circumstances of course and not that I wanted to test the embassy). I waited for 2 weeks and 2 days to get my visum and before then I was troubled thinking that I am in trouble for submitting late.. Out of that fear, my friend visited the foreign office in my city to check if the delay was from them and guess what " they didn't receive anything from Nigeria embassy for verification " you know I used to ask myself a lot of questions about this SL verification of a thing " shebi na the same people wey issue SL you de return back the SL they issued for them to verify?? " it sounds funny but then the woman my friend met told him that any German embassy has a machine to detect a fake or original SL. Their is a seal on it that a fake one ( or what have you) does not carry..So to be honest I came to realize from my experience that whether BA or SL your Visa is highly dependent on the Visa Officer ( VO) with your file and not any state your SL comes from. If you doubt it ask yourself why some folks with BA are the still complaining about delay in issuing their Visa.. Why not Automatic issuing of Visa to BA guys? It takes absolutely nothing to verify from fintiba or any other bank one used but then we hear of different stories..I encourage everyone of you to pray hard and take necessary actions when time comes but I assure that 97% of Visa delay is from Lagos and not your City.. I went to the embassy 1 week after submitting my Am as God may have it my VO stepped out and with Paulinus's permission I rushed her and she went inside checked my file and told me it wasn't Ready my friend went to Allien office they said the last time the embassy communicated with them concerning my case was the date I got my AM so that the next message they are expecting from the embassy is that they have issued my Visa not any SL document..97% of our Visa process happens in Lagos so I encourage everyone of you to play your part and leave the rest to God every other story will not do you any good.. Thanks.

And is it a must for my sponsor to be the one to foot my bills when I get to Germany and can I foot my bills myself on getting to Germany cus I can't get the full amount for BA that's y I'm trying to get SL from an uncle who's a citizen but need to convince him of not being a liability..

I would appreciate a sincere response please. I have a BSc and MSc in Accounting. I applied for am MBA program at the University of Pforzheim, though not tuition free. About 1.2m per semester . I have been given conditional admission after my online interview pending on when I submit my GMAT scores. Please, is an MBA having prospects as per job? And is it worth the expenses as compared to other courses that are tuition free? And info about the environment Pforzheim would be appreciated. Please every advice would be appreciated.

Hi Everybody! I just got AL from Paderborn. I want to book my appointment and I don't know if I should book as Category A or B.

The website says if you're "holding a bachelor's degree with a grade of 1. Class - 2. Lower Class and being accepted for a master's degree (also a DSH course-related admission to the master's program) or PhD study in Germany," and I had a First Class.

The appointment booking website also has this option "Registration for a long term visa (more than 90 days) for students of the category A (TestAS certificate standard score of 100 - 130 / very good B-1 certificate / good B-2 certificate / bachelor's degree 1. Class - 2. Lower Class / scholarship / research hosting agreement)"
