The 21 storey smart office building at the central bussiness district of Uyo, Akwa ibom state Capital city reaches its 21 floor.
the concrete work on the building has reached its conclusion, marking the begining of the installation of glass facade which has already arrived from Plexi glass Austria, the same company that manufactured the glass facade of the Akwa ibom stadium.

The building when complete will be the tallest "Smart building" in the country and is expected to meet all LEED smart building requirement.
the building is due for completion by last quarter of 2019.

The Turkish construction firm VKS construction LTD.that handles construction says the building is way ahead of schedule and will be delivered by Nov. 2019.

This building will provide mordern and ICT compliant office accommodation for business in the state, the target are multinationals operating in the state.

Excellent. Now they need to build at least 5 more of those, to form a proper CBD and a decent skyline, and serve as an example to other cities that think they don't need to build such structures because they are not Lagos or Abuja.

The building looks out of place standing all by itself. A groundscraper would have made more sense.

Yes, Am aware that one Akwa ibom billioneer based abroad has signed a contract with the same company to build his global hqts at the CBD Uyo. I heard it will be taller than this building.

and by the way if you have ever visited the Central business district of Uyo, you would notice that all the road network and drainage of the area were completed years back even when there were no buildings there.
it was built in faith and anticipation of development of the area. Thats signifies a product of careful planning.
today all the landed properties in and around the area has all been snatched up.

The buildings are comming, its just a matter of time.
