I get you, but my point is this, without Google, for example Huawei looses access to the Google play store and automatically looses millions of apps. Without those apps, Huawei becomes another brick phone like BlackBerry. How many people still buy BlackBerry with BB OS. Huawei has its own OS already but how many apps are there?

Android can't die. Google owns Android, Google has its own hardware now, latest being the Pixel. Android is the single most dominant software that has now transcended mobile phones to the entire electronic spectrum. Now you have modern cars running on Android, you have houses running on Android, you have TVs running on Android, you have robots running on Android, you have driverless cars running on Android, you have computers running on Android etc. They are unifying the whole human living experience in a revolutionary way. China is already losing this battle. The companies you listed above apart from Huawei are Korean and Japanese manufacturers. These Asian countries want the political fall of the Chinese and are economic puppet of the Americans. China is fighting a losing battle and will only end up isolating itself, thereby destroying its economic gains over the years.

I am not even putting Apple into the perspective. My own angle is from the side of Huawei and China building a new OS as an alternative. Google provides a service which Huawei is one of their highest patronizers. If Huawei looks else where for OS, google will suffer. Take it or leave it

Very correct. I got their brand recently as alternative phone. I have plans getting an upgrade. So I can say goodbye to the overrated & exploitative infinix forever. But hearing the news. I'm having a change of mind to start considering Xiaomi brand.

Nothing is permanent. There was a time Symbian was largest, then came Android. For now Android is like windows. If they dare China, there'll be a new version of mobile OS soon. Have you heard of Tencent?

Google is just an attack dog of the US. And I'm pretty sure Huawei would suffer some fall back in shares in this short period of withdrawal. So there's no relief yet for them. They would be accelerating pace in developing their OS to industry standard in order to gain market penetration. This would take time.

Huawei would take a while to recover from this present sanction. If they play their cards well, they may bounce back and gain foremost structure.
