Many online scammers on this forum are not happy with this news, just check their comments one even dupe me 6000 naira onto say she will put on her video call so I can see her unclothedness I sent money till today

I read lots of ignorant comments. The kind that keeps drawing us back as a nation. This is the kind of thing we should welcome but a lot are too sceptic.
For your info, all funds with all/any Nigerian bank is insured by the NDIC... the equivalent of the FDIC in the US. Their duty is to protect you, the depositor, from fraud.
If money is stolen from you by scammers online (and the money has been withdrawn, yes), once you lodge the complain and it is found true, you get your money back, then the bank goes after the scammers to recover their money.


If no know, ask. Stop sounding stupid with dumb statements.

This is so useless and this man just reduced himself to nothing if he is really a financial analyst.
Banks don't come in for such transactions if not ordered by court, they can only seek the consent of the owner of the account before such money can be pulled out from such account. If not, they will be destroying businesses as Mr A can do business with Mr B and then inform the bank that it was fraudulent.
Before you start ranting about banks investigating the whole thing, please be reminded that the banks are financial institutions and not the law enforcement agencies.

Not true.My brother's money was taken last year june.I personally took him to CBN Awka and lodged a complaint.This was after we waited for response from Zenith bank after we first reported immediately of the unauthorized withdrawal from scammers.Two weeks later,we headed to CBN.In 2months time,money was paid back.

Well, it is possible.
I and my friend got duped recently and we quickly reported the case, the bank( First bank) placed a restriction on the account immediately. The scammer couldn't withdraw the money.
But, we didn't get the money in one month, the procedure was as long as pipe.
From police report, court report, bank investigation. I tire
