Wait o, I need to clarify what I read on this thread now. If you have AL from two schools, is it true that once you have enrolled in one school you can't switch to another school once you get to Germany ?
Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 6 by Fabcol(m): 1:04pm On May 22, 2019
The simple thing is don't use an admission letter that the period for enrollment has passed for visa application.. Either get the enrollment extended, or enroll by proxy if possible (and provide embassy with a proof) you can always de enroll and go to your preferred school
I would say you make the payment for which ever one u choose to use for appointment (am sure you would get a document from them stating either you have enrolled or your enrollment process has started and what next to do, then u can go with such document for your appointment, so if the VO spots the passed enrollment, you would has a defense)

lovable85:
exactly thank you very much, on one AL the enrollment deadline is boldly written as June 30th and the other AL the enrollment deadline is not written on it but on the email the enrollment fee deadline is written as June 21st, because my plan is to use one of the AL and show up at another school, if i use the second AL do you think my visa will be bounced back by the alien office, when they check with the school and find out that i have not paid the enrollment fees before the fee payment deadline

forgive my plenty questions, im just worried embarassed

Just my small advice. If you are planning to remain in DE after graduating, before leaving Nigeria for any course of study especially for those going for masters, make your research and ask a lot of questions aboutthe market value of that course as regards getting a job in DE. I just got off the phone with a friend who is lamenting badly that he was not informed before he left, he would not have taken that course. No hope of job, just struggling. Guys that met him in DE, some got jobs even before graduating while still doing their thesis.

Please what’s that course in particular? Care to share??

Thank you.

Lol.. nice one! U sounded very good at it!

German is a beautiful language but it has so many grammar rules and complex structures. But once you can understand the rules and structures, memorise vocab, lots of practice, then you're good to go. But I'll still say this: Duolingo alone is not enough to learn German. By the time you reach the cases, (Nominative, Accusative, Dative and Genitive), you'll feel like you wasted your time on Duolingo. So you can still use Duolingo but in combination with other resources.

du/Ihr = You
Seid/Sind/bist = Are

The = der/die/das/den/des
Being Bilingual issa goal and must be achieved
Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 6 by sassy92(f): 1:29pm On May 22, 2019
Hehe and even this is dependent on the case
Eg
In Nominative case, masculine nouns have 'der' as 'the'
But in Accusative it changes to 'den'
In Dative it changes to 'dem'
And the Dative case doesn't exist in English language so it's difficult for English speakers to know when/how to use it in sentences.
Mehn, I don tire. But we go learn am by force!

enrollment fee doesn't means you have enrolled anyway am sure what they are asking for is the semester fee if it's then no wahala .
Na so Bremen do me last winter and I paid about €360 and after my money was refunded so fear not go ahead with anyone of them but importantly talk to them about enrollment extention because of the situation at the embassy
Hope this helps
Do you mean if you accept Bremen’s offer (for visa) and pay student contribution but choose another school later in case of a better option, you will be refunded

I got your pm but let me share it here for the benefit of others:
- Memrise, it's just like Duolingo but they teach you actual useful phrases and you get to hear real live speakers unlike the robotic voice in Duolingo
- For memorising vocabulary, there is this app on PlayStore 'German Words' its really amazing. It's like a flashcard app plus it teaches you nouns and verbs. ( According to the Goethe Institute, to be at A1 level, you need to know between 600-1200 words so memorising vocabulary is very important!)
- Youtube: German with Jenny
- There's a workbook someone shared on this thread ( search the thread) its really good for practising reading and writing, especially if you plan on writing the Goethe exams
- DE-EN dictionary
-Busuu app
- If you have money, there is a course on Udemy, it's like 4k, the teacher is really good but she focuses more on grammar rules and sentence structuring. I was struggling with the grammatical cases but after that course, all my confusion was cleared
- There's this children book (I'll put the name when I find it). Generally children storybook ( written in German) is very good for learning because it's written in simple language.
- dw.com
- Practise, Practise, Practise!!! There are four dynamics in language learning: Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening so practice all four ( though I heard Germans speak really fast so your listening won't be perfected until you get there).
That's all I remember for now, I'll update if necessary.

Yes bro but you can re- register now, just visit the school's website and check when enrolment/ the semester is likely to begin for this session and register with that date,IF that particular school will be dishing out AL soon. You can also mail them to find out when the enrolment is likely to begin for this session. The only thing is, when registering, make sure all your details are legit so that when they check these details, everything will correspond to your passport & the AL, to be on the safe side. Hopefully, you will receive the AL soon to avoid cancelling the appointment. You can also chill but personally, I would prefer if you register early

OK bro. The screenshot below is why I chose October 1st. What do you think?

It's just like people choosing IT courses because they heard IT is in demand in DE but having no passion for IT. There are various factors for choosing a course but I'd advise don't choose a course simply because you 'heard' it's in demand. Everything boils down to your marketing skills and your passion. And also how much
German you can speak.

Based on my research so far, there are 3 specializations that are in high demand in Germany..1. Those in health sector .2. Medicine and lastly education and training sector.

Ur small advise is very useless, u give scanty info for people to start pleading with you to share the name of course, so that u feel big
If u can't give full info, share the stale advise with your friends, don't come and add to people tension.
U were active after 2 hours of your post and have seen all the concerns ur post have raised.

Dear friends,

I have been following this thrend for sometimes now. I need to know some things;

1. Where can i certify my documents? After that what next?

2. Can i still go ahead to apply even though i don't have up to 8640euro (3million plus) in my BA? Is there any other means apart from scholarship and sponsorship Letter?

3.which one is better .To apply through un - assist or through the school directly?

Thank you all....seriously learning is in progress here.
