What course did he study in Germany??
glopatra:
Just my small advice. If you are planning to remain in DE after graduating, before leaving Nigeria for any course of study especially for those going for masters, make your research and ask a lot of questions aboutthe market value of that course as regards getting a job in DE. I just got off the phone with a friend who is lamenting badly that he was not informed before he left, he would not have taken that course. No hope of job, just struggling. Guys that met him in DE, some got jobs even before graduating while still doing their thesis.

Ur small advise is very useless, u give scanty info for people to start pleading with you to share the name of course, so that u feel big
If u can't give full info, share the stale advise with your friends, don't come and add to people tension.
U were active after 2 hours of your post and have seen all the concerns ur post have raised.
Rubbish!!!

And u only came back to Clear your own concerns of what u read and was attended to immediately by more than 3 persons
Mtcheew, people sef

That guy though! As good as his advice/observation would have been, it’s really of no use! He just wanted to create tension I suppose!

All is well! smiley

Not heard from them and I haven't mailed the embassy, because I noticed about these travelling insurance of seven day before you embark.on your.journey.
What do you guys think?
Am still positive duo, with God everything is possible.
But what are your thoughts?

Dear friends,

I have been following this thrend for sometimes now. I need to know some things;

1. Where can i certify my documents? After that what next?

2. Can i still go ahead to apply even though i don't have up to 8640euro (3million plus) in my BA? Is there any other means apart from scholarship and sponsorship Letter?

3.which one is better .To apply through un - assist or through the school directly?

Thank you all....seriously learning is in progress here.

1. You can certify you document at the German embassy in Lagos. You’d need to book an appointment on their website beforehand. You can also certify at any High court around you. So just ask around.

2. Yes, you can attend your interview if you don’t have the necessary funds in your BA. However, you should endeavor to fund some weeks after your interview. Also, it is mostly advisable to have funded your account before the interview! If this has an effect on AM and procession duration hasn’t been comprehensively verified.

Unfortunately, the BA, SL or scholarship are the 3 ways you can get a study visa at any German Embassy. There is no other way.

3. Both are the same! Uniassist would verify your documents and send your info to the school for assessment. While applying to the school directly has the edge! This is because most German universities don’t charge handling fee before considering your application.

All the best.smiley

I think you should exercise a little more patience bro! It is going to 4 weeks next week! So chill and hopefully, you’d get your AM before the end of the month!

Please guys I need your advice on my case, I just got admission to study IT engineering at Wedel in Germany, but my problem now is that I have not received an appointment date from the consulate and my resumption date is Oct first, from the Information I got from the German website, it takes time to get the appointment and the visa processing done, so am now scared ,the time I have won't be enough which is 15th of May to 30th September. For me to get the visa, so I requested for an extension in start date from the school they said they can only shift my start date to next semester, so my dilema now is can I still use the admission letter given to me to continue the visa process or should I cancel the appointment and wait for next semester to start the visa application all over again. And I was asked to make a quick decision by the school , so please what would you advice me to do.

Bros, chill. You don't need to rush

Hi guys. I'm new here. I received my admission letter from Paderborn last week and applied for appointment already. I've been given an appointment date by the embassy, but my problem this: on the visa appointment form, the section that asks for beginning of study period I filled in when lecture is starting. I don't know if this is correct. I'm I suppose to fill when enrollment is starting instead?
how did you book your appointment. Please reply.

OK bro. The screenshot below is why I chose October 1st. What do you think?

You should be at the school in August/ September. That is when the beginning of study visit should be in my opinion regardless of that October 1st. It is clearly stated that all international students should be there by August 1st. I don't know if they will check it at the embassy but if they do and ask why you did not pick a date in order to begin the preparatory courses which all international students should attend. I don't know what you'll tell them.

Most importantly find out about the enrolment deadline of the school. The embassy from what I read, will check this to know if you can still enrol into the school.

In the end, everything will be good bro. Just find out the enrolment deadline & I would advise you pick that August first/ a day before August 1st for beginning of study visit in order to avoid too much stories. I believe everyone who register/registered for appointments in May will get dates.

Hehe and even this is dependent on the case
Eg
In Nominative case, masculine nouns have 'der' as 'the'
But in Accusative it changes to 'den'
In Dative it changes to 'dem'
And the Dative case doesn't exist in English language so it's difficult for English speakers to know when/how to use it in sentences.
Mehn, I don tire. But we go learn am by force!

Exactly my point, so if you want to pronounce it together, it will be 'Na der den rush dem'.... we must mix am with pidgin small....
