actually its not AL yet, its an interview iv been invited for, if I then pass I will be given AL
Interview questions are usually drawn from what you wrote in your statement of purpose, so study it properly.
Be confident and try to speak good and simple English. If you are not sure about a certain answer, admit it, do not second guess and then let them know that is why you have decided to study further.

I wish you success.

Nice post.
Bros is it possible to do PR for Germany and how do one go about it

You can always make research on this in any of the German state you want to reside. each of these state have a designated website that you can fetch info from.
Please it help to find it your self, cos there you will have more info. use Google to ask any question and you will get what you need

I checked Hamburg and i saw this small info below. you must have stayed at least 5 years b4 you can apply

Hamburg Welcome Portal
Permanent EC Residence
Similar to the settlement permit, the permanent EC residence title grants foreign nationals unlimited residence and the right to work in Germany. In addition, permanent EC residents enjoy freedom of mobility within and outside the European Union and may reside and work in most EU countries (except Great Britain, Ireland and Denmark).

Permanent EC residents can leave Germany and stay outside of the EU for up to 12 months (for EU Blue Card holders this is extended to 24 months) while retaining their status.
Permanent EC residents can move to other EU member states (except Great Britain, Ireland and Denmark) and stay there for up to 6 years. They do not need to apply for a visa and can apply for a residence permit there, as long as they can secure their own livelihood.
Permanent EC residence cannot be granted to foreign nationals whose purpose of residence in Germany is temporary (for example, education/studies, seasonal employment, au pair or international staff exchange). This also applies to applicants and holders of residence permits granted on humanitarian grounds.

Requirements:
You have held a residence permit for at least five years (previous periods of study and training will be credited in half)
You can finance your cost of living independently
You have held continuous adequate health insurance coverage
You have proof of adequate retirement provision: At least 60 months compulsory contributions to the statutory pension insurance or similar benefits
No criminal record
If you are employed, you have the necessary permit
Sufficient knowledge of German (B1)
Basic knowledge of the legal and social order in Germany
Sufficient living space for yourself and family members
You can apply for permanent EC residence at your relevant immigration authority or the Hamburg Welcome Center.
Download the file below and study. Mind you it for Hamburg, but there will similarity for other states

https://www.hamburg.com/contentblob/11701378/29f6b7ed0f593ad617ed9d376571f446/data/information-for-international-students-brochure.pdf

I hope it guide you

Hello for someone with a 2.7 gp on the german scale and i have a bsc in physics what schools could one get into Germany. Have been searching but seen only one or two want to know if anyone here know anymore. Still searching for more though.
Also can one switch to another field like IT and software development cos I want to delve into there if possible.dont know if I can cope with the rigors of physics after a hellish bsc here. Some of the requirements am seeing here seems to make it hard to switch. It seems the germans are not that flexible like that.
Thanks

2.7 gp in German scale is very high because most schools demand for 2.5 and below, however its still possible to get admission. You'd have to do a thorough search on Daad and Google to find schools. As for moving to IT from Physics, most schools usually check your transcript to see the courses you took during your undergrad and if you didn't take some basic IT courses they might not give you admission. You can do another Bsc to avoid all this.

@ Sassy92, just a correction, 2.7 German scale is not high not to talk of very high. 2.5 is higher and it's d least of in German scale for admission in most schools. Give advice with facts. Shalom.
