Bro, while not holding brief for anyone, especially as their wealth doesn't affect my life in anyway, Forbes only rates those who invite them to access their wealth. The only exception is for quoted companies whose shareholders and their share holding is publicly known.

Amongst the top 3 in Nigeria as you rightly mentioned, only dangote can fit into the second category since he has a publicly listed company and his share holding is known. Both adenuga and alakija where privately accessed by Forbes on invitation by the billionaires themselves.

Essentially, there are some dollar billionaires in Nigeria that are not rated by Forbes because they've not invited Forbes for assessment.

while you are right that Forbes only list those who have verifiable IPOs, you are also wrong about private invite because adenuga didn't they are simply worth based on the estimates of the capacity of their ventures.

I dare you to mention any so called dollar billionaire you think is hiding, the truth is unless you stole government money their is no way you would be worth billions of dollars and the companies aren't verifiable shakers of economy.

People now think billion of dollar is easy because ignorant people keep making everyone such in their dreams.

I remember one ignorant person was saying obijackson is a dollar billionaire but he wants to hide it, yet the guy has two public IPOs in London stock exchange and isn't valued at such.
