oshimeh has all it takes to mature into a world class striker. he is pacey, strong, good in the air and shots well. i pray his meteoric rise continues cus we have a big talent in our hands who will man the number 9 position for so many years ahead. if the ajax, southampton and monaco rumours are true i prefer him joining one of the aforementioned clubs than joining milan for now because those clubs has good pedigree when it comes to nurturing young talents most especially ajax. he needs to continue playing consistently before making the big leap to a bigger club
BascoVanVeli:
Victor Osimhen's brace and Imoh Ezekiel's goal. All of good quality

there is something I like about ighalo..

His calmness attitude on and off the ball, his ball control and skills is what for me,puts him ahead of our numerous attackers.
I am a fan of ighalo and i know rohr will start him, but i will also be okay if osimhen starts.

I still stand by my comment saying he is the best young striker in Europe right now. You have said everything else.

Osimhen is a more deadly finisher than ighalo. His shooting technique is superior. But Ighalo is more skillful. And onyekuru has improved a lot. Anyone watching his games recently will observe that. He is more of a team player now than he was in Belgium.

the guy is explosive for a guy of his height. i pray the ajax rumour is true and the move materializes cus he will blossom into a monster in the colors of the club. am not really sold on the idea of him joining milan for now because the club is in a whole lot of pressure and turmoil of late and in such situation won't have time nurturing younger talents. ajax and monaco seem more ideal if his development is being put into consideration

it gladdens my heart when i see younger talents coming up, it signifies that the future of our darling super eagles is bright and the most amazing thing is having a coach who is not scared to blood them in unlike the previous indigenous coaches we had in the past. Rohr is not perfect and has his own flaws but with what he is doing with the current super eagles set up, he is building a team that will dominate the African continent for a long time even when he might have left. i just pray the team have a good outing in egypt so they will have something to build on. also looking forward to unearthing some good talents from our current u20 and 23 team who will grow to become an integral part of the senior national team.

Clap, clap, clap for Victor Osimehen

This a Striker. Not that waste of Ighalo.

Victor has the height, Posture and Agility of a complete striker. Only one person he reminds me of is Rashidi Yekini of blessed Memory

I have always known this boy to be a Goal poacher right from his U17 world Cup days when he was scoring goals for fun

God please i pray, whatsoever be the hindrance or stumbling blocks that have prevented our starlets from transfering their age group talent into SE, die by fire in Jesus name. You will never see osimehen career to kill in Jesus name. Osimehen you are covered by the blood of Jesus.

See striker abeg shocked

I feel Victor can handle Milan but I just believe that Ajax is this place to go if he wants to keep improving as a player.

Ighalo has no ball control, his link up play is zero

What he has is presence and the ability to keep defenders busy

Now, this is where you guys got it wrong.

Firstly, if you have been long enough on this thread you will know I am not a '' Fan Boy'' of Iheanacho. In fact I am not a Fan boy of any player. I will say the only player I have a soft spot for is Alex Iwobi and this is due to my status as an Arsenal fan. So I can hammer any player here without blinking. I am only for excellence and not mediocrity.

Secondly, can you categorically tell me that Ahmed Musa had a better season leading to the WC than Iheanacho had this season. Musa that was kept out of Leicester's match day squads for months and was demoted to the U23s. The last time Musa did anything of note in the national team was then 2014 WC. He was abysmal during the 2018WCQ as he only got cameo appearances in some games.

I know how you guys criticised Musa's inclusion here but some of us still had Faith in his abilities because we know what he can do if he hits full gear.

Now on Iheanacho, the coach has selected him amongst the 25. Yes, he didn't have a good season but he is a lot better than how Musa was leading to the 2018 WC. Like I said before, you cannot discredit his world Cup experience because he featured prominently in it even though he didnt score a single goal. You and I know what Iheanacho can do if he hits gear.

For me if Iheanacho can apply himself well and fit into the coach's philosophy he should be in Egypt.
The bolded is big joke.

This guy is definitely not going to play in Belgium next season, 80 percent of strikers can't score a goal this difficult. He should continue to improve abeg, prefer him to Ighalo.

You are the tribalist here. You support is ethnic based not objective.

If none of your tribe is in the national team, I believe you will never be on this thread.

Those saying onyekuru is better than mahrez were never an onyekuru fan, you guys are setting him up for a fall. E no go work, the guy is improving drastically and still got a long way to go, abeg let us desist from this comparison. This is the same measure they used for nacho before he started misbehaving.

Oshimen should retire Ighalo after nations cup abeg.

its very obvious that everyone is the thread knows who is myopic and sentimental when it comes to players from certain regions. i hold nothing against your favourites but for them not to get a chance in the afcon team that means they arent good enough. so go hang your self!

Merely saying a player is not good enough doesn't really mean he is not good enough.

Most of those who think I am myopic and sentimental are simply or perhaps family from one or two geographic expression. No surprise.
