So basically...
the woman who started out as a slave -abused and sold by her brother, fought her way through it.. lost a husband and a child, yet somehow birthed three dragons by risking her life (she didn't know whether she'd survive the fire), led her people through the red waste while starving, punished those who needed to be punished for what they did, freed slaves, earned the love of the common people, the loyalty of her armies, united all Dothraki to one big Khalasar, brought them across the narrow sea, gave the Northerners dragon glass to fight the army of the dead, offered them all her forces, repeatedly sacrificed her life, her children's lives and lost everything along the way to fight for the good cause, no one acknowledged that and constantly questioned her and took her credit away. This woman will be remembered as a bloodthirsty tyrant in Westeros. This woman who gave her all and got nothing in return but losses, grief, anger and betrayal, the one who started out alone and died alone, while everyone else got their happy ending. A literal happy ending. Let that sink in. It's beyond me how people have the audacity to say "what did you expect, a Disney ending?" So it only would have been a Disney ending if Daenerys had survived? Apparently Game of Thrones has always been a tale about Starks and its only okay for them to have their happy ending. Got it.

This is basically how I ended up making peace with how it all played out.

In my opinion though, too much screen time was spent developing character arcs for Dany, the Night King, and even Jon Snow.
The starks, the true starks that is, are ultimately the show's protagonists. I admit it, I was completely misdirected the entire time.

As an addendum, I truly do not see the point in killing off Rickon Stark in the show.
He is a better choice for king than a walking (oops, wheeled) encyclopedia.

How come there were still a large number of Unsullied and Dothraki army at the end.... I taught most of the dothraki and half the unsullied army were wiped out during the battle with the army of the dead.

and if the north is now an independent kingdom, why is a northern man the king of the remaining six kingdoms
I thought I was the only one who observed this. It seemed the Unsullied didn't fight the dead. I didn't see them.

Almost all the Othrakis attacked the army of the dead and got swallowed up, few came back, so where were the lot we saw in Kingslanding?

They acted Nollywood there.

I was angry how this Show ended.

Cercei just died a casual death after all she did.

What was the essence of Arya's Facelessness? What purpose did it really serve?

Jon becoming a Wildling is what saddened me the most.

And Bron becomes a lord when we didn't see anything he really did, whether in Kingslanding or in the North with the Dead.

All my expectations crashed just like that.

The Hell?

Good question. Like I wrote earlier, Bran had the power of seeing the past and also things currently happening all over the world. He usually controlled legions of ravens to enable him see what is transpiring everywhere. This is how he knew Jaime was coming to Winterfell. He must have seen Jaime on his way to Winterfell with one of his ravens.

Even when Jojen Reed was helping Bran understand and control his powers beyond the Wall, Jojen never told Bran anything about him having powers to see the future. Bran is an advanced warg, nothing more. He can enter and control people like he did to Hodor but he uses ravens mostly. Go back and rewatch the part when the former three-eyed raven (the old man) in the tree was explaining what it meant to be a three-eyed raven to Bran, he NEVER inclined towards Bran being able to see the future. They both always travelled to Bran's past and things currently happening in real time like when Bran saw the army of the dead marching and the night king put his mark on him. All HIS visions under the tutelage of the old man were things happening in real time or past events.

If you think Bran was the playing the game of thrones to claim the Iron throne, then you haven't been paying attention. He never wanted the Iron throne. Never. However, with his power to see things happening all over, he must have known from hearing discussions of Lords through his ravens that they would choose him. It was not a coincidence that everyone accepted him at that meeting. Immediately Jon killed Dany, it ruled Jon out for political reasons from seating on the Iron throne. The Lords of Westeros would have begun deciding amongst themselves at that point who would be the King and Bran knew ahead of time because he can see everything happening around the world. Tyrion was just the mouthpiece. Bran chose to accept it because they all chose him. He never wanted it or forced them to choose him. So, how did he play them?

We are to interpret it the way we want and nobody is wrong. But the reply to tyrion answers it all "why do you think am here"
Enjoy

u nailed bro,no character accomplished more than that beautiful queen(Danaerys)
D clueless writter just wanted to justify her death, hence why they made display an attitude that has never been part of her right from inception. She is indeed the one true queen and ruler

I do get your point about it being a Stark show. But I don't agree that Rickon would have been a better king than Bran. Bran is the perfect choice really. Jon is a good leader but he isn't a good politician. A king has to be good @ both especially in Kingslanding.

Bran knows the history of men. He knows how great kings have ruled and how they failed. He knows the effect each negative decision made by kings affect the people. If you ask me someone well knowledgeable in the history of mankind will make the perfect king. Also he sees everything, so he will know immediately who and who are conspiring against him or whoever is abusing the power he has given to them. His reign will be the most secured and positive one ever known in the 7/6 Kingdoms. He is most likely to make the best decision everytime as he will have all the information (including those ones ppl would try to hid from him) together with the knowledge of history. There's no one I can categorically say can do this not Dany (even before her madness), not Jon, definitely not Rickon, not Ned, not Varys, not Tyrion and whoever else you can think of. Bran is the perfect king and in my opinion, only 3 eyed ravens should be king. Cause they are the complete package

Very poor scriptwriting for a very much anticipated Tv show. Thank God the show has ended. Prison break still remains my best tv series ever.

Not a great house. A noble house. The great house of the Reach would be Bronn's house.
Samwell would be the maester at court.

Am still thinking about this and it still doesn't make sense to me. I wonder if it made any sense at all to Dumb And Dumber.

Normally Jon wouldn't have lived long enough to be imprisoned while Dany's bloodriders still remained in kingslanding. Jon would have been killed the moment they heard about the murder, along with everyone that took orders or sympathized with him. if anymore bloodriders remained after the deed is done, they would throw lots with carved Jon's body to determine which of them will kill himself by falling on Jon's sword. It looked like the show writers totally forgot what bloodriders were and their life purpose. Imagine bloodriders chilling on boats weeks after their khaleesi is killed, chai.

Yes. The Greyjoys are a great house.

They did not consider great or noble in the meeting. People who needed to be there were there. Lord Royce was there. Davos Seaworth was there. There houses are not great houses.

The Iron Island was one of the 7 Kingdoms. Balon Greyjoy (Yara's Father) was once King of the Iron Island.

I doubt.. iron island is just an island on it's own.. I don't think it is one of the major great houses of westeros. please list the seven kingdoms for me.
1. the north. - house Stark of winterfell
2. Riverrun. -house Tully of Riverrun
3. Stormlands. - house baratheon of stormends
4. The rich. - house Tyrell of Highgarden
5. Dorne. - house martell of Dorne

7. Lannisport. House Lannister of Lannisport
