Proof... PROOF??! .... We're talking about the IPHONE X FOR GOD'S SAKE!!!!.... A phone that other companies tried so hard to beat with their respective flagships especially in the camera aspect and some still haven't even been successful!!!!.... I don't believe you're comparing it with the RN7!!!.... U know what?, believe what u want to believe.. In fact sef, even the umidigi a3 beat the iPhone x in lowlight photos grin

I bless the very first day I heard and took interest in Xiaomi phones.... March 2019 will forever be remembered as the day I struck gold in d phone market cheesy

..... Just 24hrs after using Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 and am already in love....

That's absolutely unacceptable, I love tech but I know I don't know everything. Same thing with football, I love but I don't know everything. That's why I do research and that's why everyone does research. Sometimes when arguing on nairaland, I open another tab with Google quickly giving me info so I don't embarrass myself but our dear brother will just turn up, type rubbish and be defending the rubbish. It's not proper and the worst part is that he is still young but he just vows to not take correction. I hope he doesn't translate this online behavior into real life behavior or it will really affect him

Agreed,gcam pushes phone cameras to produce their very best in terms of mobile photography... That isn't in doubt... But just imagine what it would mean for the RN7 if the x5 also had gcam

Ain't nothing special about Nokia X5's Camera bro, it's using a no name camera sensor.. Don't know what's so special about it that it's been compared to RN7.. Stop the shilling

Redmi Note 7 uses Higher Microns, plus bigger lenses.. only professional understand what that translate to.

Guy i am presenltly not in good mood at all. item has been in lagos since 9th of may and not yet in abuja. its unbelievalbe, na only sleep i no dey sleep for post office in abuja. and the worst thing is that pointek has been selling it wuse 2. Thgiose post office staff are so useless, they are not even giving me any tangible reason for the delay.

12mp,1.8 aperture & 1.22 microns vs 48mp,1.8 aperture & 0.8 microns... It's like 0.8 is bigger than 1.22 in your village abi? undecided

12mp,1.8 aperture & 1.22 microns vs 12mp,2.2 aperture & 1.25 microns... There isn't any comparison here, everyone knows that the smaller the aperture value, the more light enters your camera thereby resulting in clearer pictures

One thing I've noticed here is how Xiaomi phone users bash other phones e.g. tecno, infinix, Samsung etc, but react somehow when Xiaomi is bashed.

You guys should stop bashing other phones, it ain't good. Buy a phone brand you trust and can afford. No phone brand is perfect. At times, everything depends on luck.

You can buy an iPhone (new), even a Samsung phone(new) and it will develop a fault. That doesn't mean the whole of the brand should be ridiculed... I see some people even attacking a brand because the phone they bought had issues, the first week they bought it. All na luck.

You can buy a second-hand phone and it won't have any issues, but buy a new one and you will experience issues while someone else will buy that same device and won't experience even one issue till he changes the phone. All na luck. This is technology for crying out loud. Mistakes can happen in production, packaging or something entirely different.

MODIFIED: One can even buy an inferior phone and (s)he won't encounter any issues with it, while another will buy a superior one and start regretting why (s)he bought it due to issues here and there.

Once again, stop bashing other phone brands. Buy your device, use it and enjoy it to the fullest. You can actually convince someone to switch to a better brand without having to ridicule the other brand. (I'm not just referring to Xiaomi phone users but every phone user)

Quad-Bayer pixel structure on the 48mp IMX586 makes it effectively a 12mp sensor with 1.6um pixels. Just correcting that small thing, not saying it's better than iPhone X tho. Software processing goes a long way. Hence the power of GCAM. The presence of OIS is also huge.

Morning, pls my phone was stolen on Wednesday 22nd of this month xioami redmi note 5. And I have login to mi cloud to be able to track my phone, but what it is showing is that my phone is offline will I still be able to track it? Abeg, anybody to help out..

Moreover, the bootloader is still lock with this, is it possible for the person to be able to use the phone? Like try flashing, wiping etc...

You cannot track the phone through Mi cloud unless it is connected to the internet. Your best bet is to report at a police station capable of tracking the phone using its IMEIs (cost has been said to be around 15k)

Once the phone is locked through Mi cloud by you, the probability of unlocking/flashing the phone by the thief is close to zero, if not zero.

What modifications were you carrying out on the phone before it started the bootloop? Theme, font, any other thing?

The phone can't be flashed without user authentication; prolly the thief OFF the phone, hoping he would be able to override the passcode. Just relax, reset your phone remotely and whenever the phone is ONLINE, it'd be trackable. I guess you didn't disable your location settings?
