What Rochas did?

No governor since governance began on earth did about 96% of what he believed are development projects in one locality, but let the rest of the area he was governing to decay.

Two factors: 1) because governor wanted to show off in State capital, then hide away the funds that should have gone for development in the whole state.
2) the governor has an immense grudge against one part of his state, in governor's senatorial district.
No pipe borne water in Imo state.

Floods wreck Orlu whose people live on dilapidated roads. Rochas deliberately destroyed existing govt development projects he met in Orlu in 2011.

Why can't Rochas be jail-bound for being a con man in Imo govt house?

Rochas destroyed himself with inferior and China products. The centre he launched the other day didn't we see that it's entrance has collapsed?

Rochas did most of his development efforts in Owerri and Orlu leaving Okigwe zone with little.

As of today, Orlu has two tertiary hospital. IMSUTH and Nigerian Police Hospital (a federal hospital that is usually well staffed and equipped) done by Rochas.

Orlu has five universities and two polytechnics courtesy of Rochas

All the federal government projects built by the Imo State government were approved by the federal government and should be reimbursed to Imo state in due course.

The construction and completion of the Nigerian Police College of Finance and Administration Ideato is contained in FGN 2019 budget proposal. This project was attracted and built by Rochas and handed over to the police who is now funding it.

kikake:

So State governor builds projects and gives the completed projects free of charge to federal government, as are the Okorocha govt projects you mentioned?

Gov. Okorocha who did nearly all his government's development efforts in Owerri, destroyed every govt development project he met in Orlu, but now wants to represent Orlu zone in the Senate, he made Nigerians look at him as a craze man.

Contrary to what you wrote Okorocha actually spread development to both Okigwe and Orlu as well as most villages in all 3 zones. He just didn't invest in media hype while his opposition concentrated in exaggerating what he has not done or where he erred. If I mention what he built in Okigwe zone it could be up to 500 verifiable projects projects including roads, schools, hospitals, ICT centers, markets and more.

Abagworo, okoroawusa littered everywhere with substandard projects of which almost all of them are in shambles right now. Okoroawusa wasted resources building rubbish, just to hype himself that he has done more projects than any governor in imo state, whereas all those projects are all in shambles right now because they are all substandard. Why not spend money and build few quality projects? Most of okoroawusa projects are what a local government chairman does in other states. Now look at the present condition of Owerri flyover and Owerri culvert tunnel. Ndi imo ndo

In all honesty, okoroawusa wasted 8yrs going in circle despite accumulation of heavy debt. Now the new governor will have so much to do by revisiting failed projects done by the previous administration, waste of limited funds continues, at the end the state will not make progress but continue in the same circle

For every one project you mention in Okigwe zone, I would mention three in Orlu zone. I am not talking of appointments given majorly to Ndi Orlu by Rochas. Okigwe zone benefited least and little from Rochas Okorocha administration despite the support he got for his 2nd term re election and that was responsible for the huge successes recorded by APGA in the zone.

Why are you now hiding your NL moniker, Abagworo, if you truly believe that Rochas did well as governor, spread his government's development projects to Okigwe and Orlu zones on a just manner?
For seven years, you continued to place Owerri developments online and tag them Imo state development.

You were warned that your principal, Rochas was threading on injustice and what shall amount to his political downfall. You refused to tell Rochas,.

FYI, Rochas tactically destroyed every govt development project, including Imo state University teaching hospital, stadium, Imo international market, he met in Orlu. He even scrapped roads in Orlu and abandoned them till today.

Rochas Okorocha's dream to represent Orlu in the Senate is a pipe dream. Take this to the CBN.

APC Abuja said many of Okorocha's acts as governor of Imo state are embarrassing to APC as a party. That's true.

I am not familiar with owerri and its environment but if u get to one round about that's designed that the road leads to Onitsha.

That Road has been done over 3times her the whole road is still a mess. Why couldn't Rocha's use all these moneys he keeps using to redo the road to do a good job once and for all.

Rocha's failed us all. Our only hope right now is Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi.

hope rotimi Amaechi?to do what for imo people?

Well you need to go around imo state and owerri in particular to understand why people dont rate him..this is the same person that built a substandard pedestrian bridge over imsu junction and also brought it down because he wanted to expand the road the pedestrian bridge was built on..is that not madness?

If making him president is what you mean, the thing is it's not possible because Amaechi a typical Igbo man: he cannot be controlled.

Besides, it will not be in our interest because it appears he is beefing the entire SS and SE...that's why he is taking most of his projects to the north and west.

On a second thought, perhaps that could be his plan for winning the hearts of those two regions.

But I know that Amaechi is a typical Rivers man that cannot be controlled, and APC members are well aware of the worrisome trait.

He may even probe Buhari, Tinubu, Oshiomhole, and co. grin

The entire south east and south south has no stand in APC, the only people from the south south and south east standing right now is Oshiomole and Rotimi Amaechi, Rocha's was supposed to be there but he destroyed his opportunity.

Amongst Oshiomole and Amaechi, Amaechi is the only one eyeing the position of President/Vp.

I think the whole IMO state should support him. When its time.

Apart from the fact that I know Amaechi would perform, I believe it would be an honour if the wife of the President/Vp is from IMO state.

Amaechi is not beefing anybody, he is just doing what any loyal worker would do, carry out the instructions of the boss. Amaechi is a political Appointee he does not have the power to allocate projects. Amaechi has plans for his Rivers state, he knows he can't carry them out when an opposition PDP is in the helm of Rivers state affairs that's why he tried everything to Make sure APC wins the state.

Its in our interest to support Amaechi. Whether he has a worrisome trait or not.

I see Fashola most times giving undivided attention to the projects in his region; I suppose that's doing his master's bidding too.
For instance, there's a bridge close to Akute that Ogun State government was constructing, Fashola showed up and told Amosun that the federal government would take over the project.

And Rivers State must not be in APC before Amaechi works for his state. Besides, Imo State has always been in APC with no major federal projects to show for it. Instead, Rochas uses state funds to execute federal projects.

Well, I get your point, and I won't comment any further on that issue because I don't know what happens behind the scene.

Lol. You see why your reason for judging Okorocha is wrong. That's a federal project done by Julius Berger and the failed repairs have been by Ferma not Okorocha. That's how many people judge wrongly. In other States nobody blames FG's failures on the Governors but rather judge them by what they've done.
Re: Few Pics From Imo State by Imo1stson: 1:36pm On May 27, 2019
It's same for Owerri-Okigwe road and Owerri-Umuahia road which are major federal highways cutting through Imo State. Many curse Okorocha for failure of FG but nobody curses Wike for poor State of PH-Aba road and East-West road.

I heard the bridge/covet leading to your state government town collasped and you keep arguing that it's not inferior materials/lesser money for contraction\bad contractors?
Bro,the thing is that your IMSG Is a big fraud, with the internal and external debt which is one of the highest in Ng,the state can only boast of hotels, and two places Oweeri and Orlu which is a good thing but yield not much revenue, i will advice that you Imolites should grab the bull by the horn when your new Government arrives and tell him to spread the development across the state and build up tourism like the Mbari art festival and good roads with the improvement of the airport to an international one with good hotels along the airport road not brothels, with the building up of the manufacturing sector and voila,Imo Is The Second Heaven in Nigeria.

Seeing gov Okorocha weep at every occasion, including in Abuja, these days, resurrects pity for him, baby politician.

How could a state governor build nearly every thing he considers good only in the state capital and his village in eight years?

Imo state by now should have been proud to show off Orlu as another model city in the state, but for Okorocha's grudge against Orlu and its people. Orlu is more cosmopolitan a city than Owerri if the roads linking the many urban sprawls in Orlu area are built.

At so many junctures, notables cried out from Orlu before gov Okorocha to at least complete the roads he scrapped in Orlu, if nothing else. Okorocha refused till today.

At every cry raised by Orlu, Okorocha would rather answer with embarking on another grandiose project in Owerri, including 6 Inland roads, multi-storey car park, federal police and prison headquarters, road tunnels and ultimately, the last desperate ditch for a 1000 Bed Mother and Child hospital to stiffle the uncompleted and yet to be fully equipped university teaching hospital at Orlu.

Mind readers can't read what is in someone's mind. If so, Orlu could not have made Rochas Okorocha governor. Yes, without the massive and highest number of votes from Orlu to Okorocha at first ballot in 2011, he could not have qualified for supplementary election against Ohakim.

Okorocha shall live to regret his grudge against Orlu
