Debaiz:Some idiots always show their ignorance, irresponsibility and stupidity in public. The head of 1966 coup was Major Nzogwu from Delta State in South South, yet this idiot is busy talking about South East and coup. Take your time to read names of coup plotters and where they are from. Secondly, I can see how passionate you are defending Fulanis. If you are a Fulani, congrats. But remember North is not safe now. If you are from Middle Belt, your own cleansing is going on. If you are Yoruba, please know it you are their next target. You know Igbo are already their enemy. Those that support evil will definitely see one. |

Debaiz:You can only deceive the dumb people on here. We know the real motive and it will fail when they start. I don't pity your first victims anyway because they have eyes but cannot see, ears but cannot hear. Their nose has failed to pick the scent neither have their tongues picked the taste of blood in the air. We are watching |

Godoverevery:Don't worry since IPOB is your problem, may fulani herdsmen visit you and add you to their statistics. I've known your types for long. Some of them were slaughtered by the Hausas during Jos crisis. We warned them but they never listened but rather blamed us. |

ozodigboo:Most of the people who said he's talking rubbish are those supporting Buhari. Even some of Obj's kinsmen. |

Debaiz:History is there to educate you on this! Care to tell me who and who were tried, convicted and executed for slaughtering thousands of Igbos in the north in 1966? Care to tell me who and who were tried/court-martialled, convicted and executed for the Asaba massacre during the uncivil war? The main actor in that show of shame even has a airport named after him for his troubles! So you see...your FG is quite capable of doing all it’s been accused of! |

Xander85:Especially this FG. They have not given Nigerians any reason to trust them. |

Yujin:blame us....who are the us ...... most people in Jos are aiin't Hausa or Fulani.....Jos crisis was a fight between muslims and Christians so I don't no the people like you that were killed you talking about because we also have Hausa who are Christians as well...eg the current house of rep leader, Gen Gowon to mention a few. |

kinglee007:Wooow you’re really good at twisting things. You blatantly took my statement out of context to play the victim card and blame game that I was sowing the seed of discord. Until you come to terms with it and start blaming your grand fathers for your woes rather than others, nigeria will never favor your tribe politically. You claim not to have quote me out of context then what happened to the bold part? The “it” in the first part referring to the actions of your grandfathers as stated in previous paragraph. I repeat you’re really good and I’m not surprised it’s coming from the same set of people who never take responsibilities for their actions rather they find a set of people to blame for their failures. You simply trying to pin the “sowing the seed of discord on me” but no matter how you try you cannot change history. It is a fact that has been on ground before you and I were born and at the rate you’re going I will still say it again. If you and your people do not stop blaming others for everything and start taking responsibilities for your failures, there’s nothing for you politically in this country. Talking about treason I’m happy to inform you that your definition of treason is shallow and myopic. You have three words from your definition and I’ll try to educate you from those three words. 1 Betraying your country. When you betray your country it means you’ve done something that is not only against the constitution of your country but you have done something that threatens the core foundation and unity of your whole country. When Henry Okar bombed the Independence Day parade in protest of breaking out what do you call that? 2. Attempting to “kill” This is a typical example of your myopic and shallow view. “Kill” in this statement is referring to taking a human life but attempting to strangle the life of a sovereign government. The eternal continuity and life of any country’s government is having successive governments and in what way do you have successive governments in a democratic setting if not election. When a certain person or group of persons now come out to say there will be no election in a particular part of that same country, is that not an attempt to kill/stifle the life out of the sovereign nation? 3. Overthrow the government This is pretty straight forward. I remember the time the Nigerian military moved in to arrest Nnamdi Kanu was few days after he unveiled the Biafra secret service with full military regalia. I don’t think there’s any country on this planet earth that can wait around and allow a group of separatists to form military or secret services. The Catalan movement has been on for over a 100years but they know better never to attempt to form a military or secret service and in those 100years of their movement, I don’t think a Catalan has ever been elected as the Spanish head of government. That is the price you pay in any country when you keep chanting the songs of separation. Now back to the retaliation. You said once retaliation has been made, then truce is called. I don’t know where you get the rule from but I know there’s not rule that says once you retaliate then grudges are over. On the other hand, I will ask a question. If we are to go with your analogy of “retaliation and truce” then I should ask who were the people that were wronged/offended and who retaliated? The whole country was offended and a particular section retaliated. What of the others? Particularly three important people from two tribes were killed. Two from the north and one from the SW. Now assuming truce was called when the north retaliated, what happens to the SW that didn’t retaliate? What happens to other minority tribes that were forced to realign with regions they will rather do without due to the abolishment of regional government? What you fail to understand is that the problem created by that singular act of the first coup is not as simple as you or anyone saying retaliation has been made so we should or forget and move on. If you remember or know your history, the anger of the first coup lead to different attacks that follow the “retaliation coup” on people of that particular tribe. This attacks further degenerate to the bloody civil war that killed millions of Nigerians. This is to tell you the result of the first coup is not as simple as retaliation and truce. Finally there may not be direct animosity resulting from the first coup(the present animosity is due to the unfavorable political climate against that same tribe) but we can’t hide the fact that the root of this unfavorable political climate was a direct result of the abolishment of regional government and parliamentary system(handed over by the British) masterminded by the first coup plotter just because they feel(like you also pointed out in one of your comments) the presidency role of Nnamdi Azikwe was a figurehead forgetting that there’s something called future where they too can become the prime minister and hold the power. As at that time, southerners were still united against the north and could have ruled the country for a long time with collaboration cos the country had 2regional governments(eastern and western) as against that of the north that had only 1(northern region). Because they wanted power for themselves and were not patient they scattered everything, effectively giving the power to the north(that has superior population) with the introduction of the presidential system. Now unto the radio Biafra thing, how do you communicate with a set of people constantly on the move and are always with radio listening to stations from other countries with Fulani presence if not through the same radio. You said Radio nigeria only had Igbo, Hausa and Yoruba language services. That is not true. Below is the picture of few of radio Nigeria’s network stations. Tell me the language the ones in delta, kogi, Akwa Ibom, cross river, benue, and Edo states broadcast in?

Debaiz:See reasoning! The most dangerous are people calling for the peaceful division of the contraption while the terrorists who wish to conquer and hoist their religion on others are the manageable ones? Clearly, you deserve such people. |

Godoverevery:The 'us' there referred to fellow Christians who were warned about what the Hausa Muslims with there affiliates planned against non Muslims but they never agreed with us. A lot of them were killed because they were nonchalant when others were at alert. Same awaits your likes who we are warning at present. The day is coming soon. I knew this so well and have been echoing it here on Nairaland since 2011. History will vindicate me. Above that, my prayer is that my people and those that agree with us shall come out victorious from the wreckage that will remain of Nigeria. |

Godoverevery:Lol. Go tell that to the South Sudanese. The South Sudanese battled those Islamists for decades and lost so many lands and people before help came to them. The hausa/fulanis have those northern Sudanese as mentors. Soon you will understand. Plateau people were like this on 7th September, 2001 but fast forward to 2011 and they feasted on the burnt carcass of the demons that have caused them so much pains. Your type will have to lose family members before you smell the coffee. Any Josite here should corroborate my statement for your own benefit. |

Godoverevery:I have Muslim friends too and would even fight to defend them if they are attacked unjustly. However, the situation in Nigeria presently calls for fight or flight. Fleeing is not an option because the world is more territorial than ever before so we are left with fighting. Adaptation is the last feature for survival. This is what your G.O did not tell you. Soon it will unfold before your eyes. |
