I wasn't so active when I opened my account newly but I came across few of his posts. Until now I never knew he was a philanthropist but his works spoke for him.. Op you made a good point and I hope people here will learn from it. I for one have never insulted anybody here because I believe so much in the golden rule : never do to people what you will frown at, if it's been done to you |

"I wonder if they'll laugh when I'm dead ... Why am I fighting to live if I'm just living to fight? Why am I trying to see when there ain't nothing in sight? Why am I trying to give when no one gives me a try? Why am I dying to live if I'm just living to die? ... " - Runnin' (Dying to live) Tupac Shakur featuring the Notorious B.I.G. |

The mindset of those abroad is quite different from those in naija Sha. First time I saw his Monicker, I knew he wasn't an ordinary person. When we conversed, I just knew but then, don't remember why we stopped conversing. Anyways, we all shall die someday, we should leave behind a legacy to be proud of. All the money he slaved for are all left behind. Vanity indeed. |

It is very painful we lost Hungerbad. May his soul rest in peace. Rest on brother. A lesson for all indeed. |

I always tell people never to envy those who are on top now because everyone have a space at the top which is waiting for them. Little suffering today for a better tomorrow. |

Hungerbad never ceased from my mentions. I never really liked him because he supported the tyrant Buhari. However I grew fond of him. All politics is local was one of his favorite quotes. Sad day. Rest in peace. |

davodyguy:There isn't much difference between you and the kids you just mentioned. Read your post again. Too many abusive language. Clamoring for a secession doesn't make the pioneer a hater of his/her original country. That person remains a citizen of the said country 'till secession is given in. No country has ever seceded easily from another. As a supposed adult you claim to be, you should've known better. No insult intended, and I'm a Nigerian and loves Nigeria. |

So hungerbad the Buhari supporter passed away because he was unable to afford overseas medical care like his master? Sigh. Be that as it may, I won't allow my misgivings about his life's mistakes from wishing him eternal rest. I just wish he had learned his lesson before passing on. |

davodyguy:True that. All what you've typed and what the Op typed are all true. Nairaland ain't what it used to be. And I doubt it will ever change back to the way it was. Too many kids with smartphones these days. |

It's sad that one of our members here is gone to be with the Lord. His moniker was striking, unique in a way, comical. I never knew the individual behind the moniker was such an influential personality and a philanthropist. Rest well Sir. |

| Re: Learning From the Life of HungerBad by olayinkajnr(m): 2:30pm On May 24, 2019 |
DBossNG:Kindly ignore him bro. And the only past deeds I can remember HungerBad for is his good deeds. The guy is generous. I think the only issue that dude up there has with him is because he is a supporter of Buhari. But of course, that's how he choice to align himself politically. Politics have made people to be blinded to reality. |
