Under normal circumstances, I can agree with you but now Nigerians import snakes not common to our topography .last year a snake that has nothing to do with Nigeria or Africa as a whole and highly venomous was caught in lekki.we don't even have its anti venom as it isn't to be found here .

So noe adays,I don't get surprise or argue

That's not mamba I'm 100% sure a black mamba is brownish in color the name black mamba came from the black moouth the snake open when its threaten and its about to lunch an attack

We killed this type too in my compound last week.

That's a king cobra, it's dangerous. One bite can kill a full grown elephant

Very soon, it will be on Lalastical left and I wonder if he'd get smashed up on the head like his cousins and other family members!

And that's most likely correct. However I'm not certain because most vipers usually have a patterned skin and this one is all black.

Boa constrictors also have that triangular shape of head but I doubt we have then here.

My last theory, this could have been a cobra and maybe it's head is just swollen from too much beating lol.
