fergie001:The only Ife man to be VC of OAU was only a VC as interim. He won't be recognised as such. His tenure was so brief. He'd end up stepping down for the incumbent - Ogunbodede, from Ondo. |

BUKGREAT:I'm from Enugu but I can tell you that the rest of us in Enugu are tired of the clannishness of the Nsukka man! It got to its highest level since the present governor of Enugu state assumed office! They now think that the governor must concentrate all developmental projects in Nsukka and neglect other zones that make up the state. Even employment in Enugu state is now restricted to those from Nsukka! Now, they are busy scheming to split ESUT and shift most of the faculties to Nsukka with some flimsy excuses. They are trying to pull the smart one on us by claiming they are building a nonexisting university of education in Enugu west where faculty of education of ESUT would be moved to. Those guys think the rest of us are fools! I'm sure they were abandoned to their fates by the rest of Enugu people during the VC-ship contest in protest for the unprecedented bigotry they have exhibited since Ugwuanyi became governor. We all know how the contests played out when Chimaroke produced Nebo while Sullivan produced Okolo as VCs. |

I schooled in UNN, and from my experience, Nsukka people can be very clannish. And highly bigoted and prejudiced against other Igbos - with an especially pronounced resentment of Anambra people. It needs to be made clear that they can compete just fine with any other people for the post of VC, but it is not an entitlement that anybody owes to them. UNN is not their private property just because it is sited on their land. The school does not need an Nsukka VC anymore than it needs an Idemili, or Mbaise, or Ngwa or Afikpo or even an Ijebu VC, and there is no special magic an Nsukka VC will perform that any other group will not perform. |

BUKGREAT:Unizik's last VC was not from Anambra. Softly, softly they lie o. Enugu people are "calm and peace loving" and Anambra people are not "calm and peace loving" abi? After the mass sack of non-indigenous civil servants when the old Anambra was divided, Ndi Enugu state were the first Igbo group to promote such clannishness that has become a feature of intra-Igbo relations today. C. C. Onoh was known for his resentment of Anambra people. Stop justifying your bigotry by ascribing sinister motives to other people that you manufactured. |

BUKGREAT:Another impostor. Umunnaa, pay him no attention. For the records, Prof Ahaneku the immediate past VC of a Nnamdi Azikiwe University is from Imo state. He stayed for two tenures as well. |

fergie001:The writer write up was well balanced. He is basically saying that some(pay attention to this) who are pushing for VC of Nsukka VC for UNN, are indirectly saying that Zik was stupid for not siting the University in Anambra state, since we should all allow parochial interests override Igbo interests if we go by the actions of some of these Nsukka people pushing for Nsukka VC. The writer is a pan Igboist, and he isn't the only Nsukka person with such Pan Igbo mindset, as he clearly was against some of his Nsukka kinsmen who are parochial in outlook. He reckons that Nsukka stands to benefit from pan Igboism as shown by Edoga appointment as VC in Umudike Abia state, and not from playing parochial politics. It actually made for a good read. This is Igbo for you. We don't hide evil in our midst to appear saints like some people do. We expose and condemn it, that way, those who erred take their corrections and repent from their ways, and the society in whole is better for it. |

Osagyefo98:OK. But he was appointed VC though being from IMO. That's the most important thing. I knew that moniker belongs to you, and was hoping to draw you out. You are shameless being. Creating alternative monikers claiming to be from different Igbo states, to play antagonistic roles, in bid to rile Igbo states against each other. Your antics starts and ends in Nairaland. Even in NL, you are hardly successful these days as most of us now know your game. |

Arda1000:My people are easily deceived! Sighs... Don't be carried away by those proverbs in Igbo. His aim is to create division in our ranks. Take your time and go through all his posts on this forum. More than 90% is on Igbo related matters and try to figure out his aim. That's what matters. He is evil personified. |

pazienza:Even in my sanity and fairness, am still been scorched. Let me state in clears terms, your views and my stance on igbos issues may not be same but you don't expect me to align with your own views just for me to sound how do I put it “igbotically correct ” ( correct me if am right). Try and place decorum in manner with which you speak and stop all these unfounded and meaningless accusations. |

For the benefit of others, I'll further expose the OP here. His alternate username is BUKGREAT. He created the account yesterday and have used it here to support and bring out his original intention on sowing discord among Igbo states. You can check on the username BUKGREAT for confirmation. How would someone discussing Bayero University know so much about SE tertiary institutions and the things that happen in there? He's an evil agent on a mission. Be wary of him and his topics and comments. |

Yujin:Is this how your mentality and reasoning has miserably deteriorated. Half education is vanity especially if obtained in a rural school. Can you Imagine someone who claims to be educated and versed in learning could make this lame submission. Is this not the most mockery of educational standard in recent time. Young man, you need an all round development of a better sound mind so you can add positively to the society but if it is with what am seeing here then I have nothing to say than SORRY. |
| Re: The Great Zik didn't learn well from history. My Brother Is Now The VC Of UNN. by Yujin(m): 5:11pm On May 27, 2019 |
Osagyefo98:I'm far smarter than you. I read you from the first time I saw your comments and I investigated to know you better. I know your mission and have seen through the smokescreen. You're not the first I've decoded. Just go back to your sponsors and tell them your cover has been busted. Tell them to send a smarter fellow. The curses I laid on you will continue to follow you unless you confess and repent from attacking Ndigbo. I don't beat about the bush hence ignoring or attacking on the internet means nothing to me. Keep off Igbo threads and I'll stay far away from your radar. |
