All in all I believe he is old enough to know he actually doesn't need to cause Nigerians agony or amass wealth for himself again at his age. He must have seen some of his friends die and that should mean a great message to him.

From a military perspective he is correct, we have achieved success. He didn’t claim victory.

The question you should ask is how dies the military benchmark success.

Have they held a line in the sand?
Have they claimed a “flag”?
Has the enemy reached a certain “must not pass” zone?

Nigerians, the success and failures of our leader is also our.
