Sharp guy na so.

One stupid guy requested for me at GIGM jibowu. He said i would take him to lekki and back to yaba.
After the trip, fare read 6,900.

This guy tried doing some sakamanje transfer and said network is bad, once network comes he ll do it. I allowed him go. (Me wey know wetin i dey do )

Just after an hour later, I noticed this guy had stopped picking my calls and blocked me and he was reading /ignoring my whatsapp chats.

Got all his life details on linkedin/truecaller. Even his fb profile. Then I screengrabed and sent to him the second day. This dude credited me after 5mins. Sometimes u need to show them craze.

After that

Lol! Nah soh, just use true caller, check whatapp and confirm Facebook sharp sharp, the rest nah small tin, you go get your money, e fit just take time. Yesterday a lady made transfer of 1700 and she didn't even bother to show me anything, I just notice someone alighting and I'm like have you done the transfer? she said yes. I didn't even argue with her since its a compound, I just jejely park outside with 15mins grace to get alert... Lo & behold alert dropped soh quick grin

One thing I have learn in this business is try not to give in to intimidation, if a car is at ur back, check if its civilian first, then he can wait forever, uber/taxify drivers r gradually becoming tout grin, let dem manage us like that (They we b driving and pressing phone baba). All cases should b settled to your satisfaction, advantage or breaking point before giving up.

Last week, I had an app error from yaba to cmd road, told rider about it from ogudu side and she was asking what will happen... Got to her destination and she offer 1k, I smile and ask is it because I didn't pull over on 3mb the moment i noticed, I guess that will b rude abi? She asked, how much do I want now? Me; 2k/2.5k at least. We argued for 10 mins and admit to go with app estimation... D stupid tin display 1400 - 1600, dat was how she paid 1600.

guy' how much can you help get a clean Honda civic 05 for Uber use, very setiouse, too much noise on corolla

I try to encourage people to look for a corolla alternative that will be good for uber. It fail on deaf ears, with a tokunbo civic your Hp should not be more than 2.2m , we at times are our own worse enemy... people need to start thinking outside the box

Let's talk reality.. In order for that to happen , it has to be a combine effort.. But in a situation that uber is putting food on people's table it will be hard to do .. Too many are gaining from uber than are not gaining.... If uber parks up now, now, now do you know how many will be unemployed? Because of the technology uber has created, we need uber more than they need us ... Lagos is not even their biggest African market.. And keep in mind uber is well know around the world.. Well know than any other app. Uber is brand, and because of that foreigners feel more comfortable with using uber

A lot of people are employed because of uber. Uber has nothing to lose in the Nigeria market. Lagos is not even the biggest market in Africa for uber. If uber packs up now, the unemployment rate will go up ... what set uber aparts from the rest is money ..uber has the money and the technology.. So if uber leaves and other ehailing apps comes in, they might not be efficient as uber .. It will be a free for all market and price might even go up
And they are here asslicking us abi? Dey take Uber do you? ...

Uber/taxify app make my phone very hot so I bought this hanger on my ac vent. But my fear is, each time I touch d phone while ac is on, the phone gets very cold like ice block, I’m afraid it will turn ice inside d phone and d ice may turn to water inside the phone when I eventually turn d ac off. I don’t know if my thought is right.
Nothing of such, bro. For that to happen, your entire car has to be frozen 1st.

This is true and it applies to every industry in the world.. Supply and demand has to be in place for anything business to exist but what I meant by bringing food to the table should be digested and understood by people with a bit of common sense..
People just want to jump on things they barely understand
And by so doing, they should remain slaves forever? Have you never made a mistake that you spend your life trying to undo? You guys asslicking Uber, once you are quoted by an intellectual mind, you go back into your shell and look for branches to hold like falling monkeys. One of you guys claimed he'd never opt for a vacation, but claimed he was on vacation a week Later; only to defend himself, after being quoted, by claiming work is like vacation to him. He probably thought we're all fools. Who una tink say una de deceive nah?

If Indriver based on their model which is quite different from uber/bolt should start operation in Nigeria, i believe things will get better for drivers. Drivers will now decide whether they want to go to certain destination, take less trips but make more money. Experienced drivers would see a reduction in the cost of their car maintenance as they would not accept certain trips going to areas with bad roads.

I expect that Uber and Bolt would now be forced to give drivers and riders more incentives.as they scramble to get drivers off indriver app platform. i think happy days are here for drivers, hope my forecast plays out well.

All this uber put food on the table back and forth argument, as for me and me alone, uber doesn't put food on my table, I PUT FOOD ON MY TABLE. How can I work my ass off and uber will take the credit grin
Most of them had an extremely difficult life before now, and Uber/Bölt became their saviour, which is understandable.
But don't come here and claim nonsense because of your grass to 'grace' story. Some people are way better than your present status, but are considering leaving it for yours, because of your wrong advice.

Hmmmm...very true. The bible says one must find the truth.
People perish because they lack knowledge. And knowledge is power.
From my little experience, only people that are hard working, earn less than #80k salary and do not mind the stress and other things should consider leaving their jobs for doing Uber (as a driver paying rentals). For car owners, ........
