I honestly cant say whether it is 12v or 24v. But it uses two batteries. I cant assess it now as i am not at home, else i would have looked at it more closely. Maybe you should google it up.

As for my authenticity, you can research on my account. My moniker is my full name... wink

Bro, lets take this discussion of Nairaland and chat on whatsapp. I sent u a message.

Meanwhile, no, the price is exclusive of shipping. Shipping cost shouldnt exceed 1k. We can reach a compromise, however

they are not brand-new, although I carefully selected the best after various tests.

I got them, from used laptops batteries ..sourced from family and friends.

I see you deal in 18650 cells, may I ask what you use them for ? I have lots of projects I want to run using these cells, I know if I explore computer village / oshodi well I will get a lot, but no time for now.

how do you charge these batteries, if you use them for a power pack. I need advice ( have gotten BMS and ibmax charger) but don't want to rush yet.

Please has anyone here used GBM batteries? How durable are they?

Are they better than Croc batteries? Im torn between choosing one of the two. Kindly advice from experience.

There is one thing I have come to notice about using a UPS in this ceejay's power project. The bug in using a UPS is that the transformer in the UPS will drain your battery faster than when you use a small inverter.

Secondly, a UPS does not adhere to the DOD rule. The DOD rule is that your battery should not be drained below 50% so as to keep it top notch and make it last for a longer period of time. The UPS alarm starts to beep when the battery is low which probably occurs when it is on a 20% or even 10% level and that is not good for your battery.

The only advantage the UPS has is that it follows the SOC rule which allows your battery to charge, float and trickle which is good for the battery but it does not adhere to DOD rule.

My advice, get a pure sine wave inverter instead of a UPS!
This can be solved by installing a battety monitor.

Hi, is that charger good for deep cycle batteries?
It looks like it's only for car batteries from my search. (maybe I didn't understand what I read)

So basically my question is, can chargers for car batteries be used for deep cycle batteries?

Here is my two kobo...

Do not power your freezer with your batteries. Even if you have a sizeable battery bank, you'll run down it's life because of the frequency of charge and discharge because a freezer is on nearly all the time.

Buy a few more solar panels and run your freezer when the sun is up only. I'm guessing you'll be able to run your freezer between 8am and 3pm with the right size of panels and the panels will still be able to juice up your batteries.

I have a deep freezer that consumes 200watts and I have 2x 200 watts panels. I reckon if I wanted to put my freezer on it, i'll need two extra 200 watts panels. The cost outlay will be much cheaper than buying a few more batteries.

Alejobs:

I discover this too a while ago.... So I use a 2000watt inverter for heavy duty load, such as ironing, pumping water and occasionally with the freezer but my 24/7 load like TV, light and fan. I discover this by accident cos my big inverter was acting up and battery was weak then .... If I put on the inverter then with no other load on...... Battery on 12.7 will drop to 12.5 instantly..... I come see say the small inverter no dey leave 12.7 until I plug load......

My challenge now is powering my freezer.... It runs down my 2 battery fast
