If they were democratically elected, I'd like to know whether he has the powers to do such and if he has, then that's a loophole in our constitution. Whether the lection that brought them in was a sham or not, you should have no right to do such as it is the gateway to a rubber stamp local authority. I am not in support of such moves.

The LG elections in Oyo were actually a sham.
It was rigged to make APC win all seats.
As much as I call for LG autonomy, free and fair elections must also be involved.

Local Government Autonomy is the way forward, can a President sack state governors? No. Are presidents not succeeding irrespective of the fact that the opposition control some states? We sometimes give our leaders the unnecessary support to go ahead and do wrong because of our blind support.

Each Governor is responsible to the affairs of his state. We all know that Local Governments are just figureheads. Development of states in Nigeria is not by the work of the President.....it's the Governor

Local govt elections are conducted by the state govt and not INEC.
The PDP cried and shouted then about the sham but ofcourse APC didn’t care.
