You fall under - 500 - Student visa (subclass 500) Higher Education Sector. 75% of applications are processed in 41 days while 90% are 51 days or >

I don’t think this is applicable to Nigeria.
I have lodged my visa since first week in March and visa is yet to be out.
It’s even more than 51 days

Good morning everyone. Please I was denied study visa in march based on gte and I didn't reapply, I'm yet to even request for my refund from the school. However, yesterday an agent from IOM Ikeja came to my place of work with a letter dated 22nd May, 2019 with the subject "verification of study leave approval letter" met the managing director and asked her to verify my position in the company. The agent also attached the study leave approval letter I submitted for my visa application and that the MD will have to answer a few question with company letter headed paper.
My question is- is this normal? What does this mean? Are they reviewing my documents again? Has anyone else experienced this?

Please help. Thank you
P. S- the company is a family owned, I did not use an agent for my application, the only rship I had with Iom was for medicals and it was in abuja.
Pss-- the letter said " The IOM on behalf of the Australian High Commission present their compliments to the MD and would like to verify the authenticity of the study leave approval of....... Applicant"

yes i have experienced this too. Although your case is slightly different from mine since a decision had already been made concerning your Visa application before the arrival of the letter from Iom. What was/were the specific reasons given for your denial on the Visa refusal letter?

I am 25, unmarried, all my family members are in nigeria, going for a masters degree in accounting which is in line with my undergrad. They don't think my company can hold staffing for two years while I'm gone. Nigerian universities offer a similar course. They don't think I have intentions of coming back after study.
Re: General Australian Student Visa Enquiries Part 3 by WestAfrican: 11:52pm On May 28, 2019
The symbol > means greater, therefore your application could be greater than 51 days depending on your circumstances or case officer.

You also have the choice of asking them to finalize your application. It usually takes about a day or two and could go in or against your favor.

You may be exempted by school but not by immigration. When I applied, my 1 year Education in UK exempted me for school, but I did an English test because immigration required 3 - 5 years in an English speaking country.

I don't know if the latter requirement is still in place.

Thank you for your comment, however it is also stated on the immigration website that students enrolled in a postgraduate research course also fall into the exemption category

I have now seen this.

Please gurus in the house I need your help can you please help me with ideas on how to reply this questions sent from the school?

Dear team,

Would you please provide an update on the following;

· Financial evidence provided from the Father –

o Large deposit of 7,500,000 (AUD 29,832.50) from Greatest Shalom Ventures on 01 Mar 2019. Please provide an explanation on this.

o Large deposit of 3,466,000 (AUD 13,786.60) from Augustine Uyimwen on 25 Feb 2019. Please provide an explanation on this. We will need an affidavit of financial support for this person.

o Large deposit of 3,690,000 (AUD 14,677.60) from Greatest Shalom Ventures on 24 Jan 2019. Please provide an explanation on this.

o Large deposit of 4,000,000 (AUD 15,910.70) from Best Option on 10 Jan 2019. Please provide an explanation on this.

Need updated SSVF - as SOP states he has friends and family in Perth.

· SOP needs some revision –

o No evidence of country comparison research.

o What institutes did he research in other countries and what were his reasons for not studying there?

o Why is he choosing not to study in his home country?

o Mentions friends and family in Perth - why is this not listed on the SSVF?

o No evidence of job ad research shown - please include screenshots.

o Please include details of the family business. This would serve as an incentive to return home.

o What other incentives does he have to return - does the family own land?

o What is the economy like in Nigeria - why will our degree increase his job prospects?

o What projects could he apply to work on?

I am sure you know Finance no dey PR list.
Victoria is a better place to live in than Sydney in my opinion. Sydney is overcrowded.
What about Perth?

Will your MSc in Finance equate to you being a Finance Manager immediately.

When I double-checked, they are on 190 list not 189, which means you need a nomination. Follow this link. You can submit other variance of Finance or Financial something and see that you may not be able to apply for Financial Director, etc, you may not be one yet. And if you are one, then you should meet one of the not-so-constant state/regional nomination requirements after your MSc.

Victoria sponsors for financial brokers or so, but that's if you have a PhD in Victoria. Check other states requirements. Is your Finance MSc degree specialised in any of the areas when it goes before VETASSES?

Just read well.

Then your home ties isn't convincing enough and you are unable to detailed what you have being doing after your first degree, marital status shouldn't be an issue.

Apparently nearly all profession is competitive presently except for few, with your years of experience it is advisable to apply for PR instead of opting for studying provided that your Bachelors degree is on the skillselect list.
Do you think my masters in Accounting,4 years experience in service oriented industry, Professional certificate in management, certificate in research training will grant me PR? Or do I opt for masters in financial analysis for PR? Please I await your response.

If you are less than 33 - 30points
Positive assessment of your accounting degree Masters or Bsc - 15points
Test of English 10 or 20points depending on your score.
If you are able to claim at least 3years experience - 5points.
Your professional certification won't add any point.
From my analysis, the maximum point you can accumulate is 70points which is low for an ITA because the last round of invitation 90points was the minimum for accounting.
If you opt for masters, same thing applies just that you may add 5points for one or more Australian degree and additional 5points if you school in regional area.
In case you still wanna opt for masters, head to Tasmania there are many pathways to PR options.
