but he's right, how many countries carry academy players go this tournament?
not about how many countries went with academy players...
I still remember how manu garba academy boys whipped NPFL teams...in star 6 tournament sometime back...

the best players are in the academics... not about what other nations does...
pick these boys 6-10 months to the tournament...brush them up and see how best they deliver.

Utin has the qualities to become a better lb but a lot of polishing needs to be done in his game.

Aigbogun has done a terrible job. This team needs work. It seems he's unable to select decent players, read a game or make proper substitutions.

exactly Dear...
if only they know what awaits them in the round of 16...
they will be playing against one of the best team in the tournament....

When i saw Super Eagles played at the last World Cup i knew nigerian football is dying. With this first half display, it is confirmed. Aigbogun is either afraid of someone's choice of players for him or didn't have taste for unearthing good one. His team lacks bite in every department. Just few stand out players ( ogbu, micheal, success & oforboh) which of course were never part of the team from the scratch.

I don't think Nigeria's football is dying. Just bad selection is the major problem.

the team lacks bite In the attack...
and one will expect the coach to try out other options in the attack...
play the chinonso kid..
let's see what he has to offer...but the dummy coach will not play him..

I have no doubt there is something fishy happening behind these players and the coach....

that's why we opt for foreign coach...
the money used to hire Thomas Dennerby for the super falcons would have been used to hire an under 20 foreign coach....

the super falcons for now don't need a foreign coach

All am seeing is Ashley young younger brother, plays exactly like him, and not too good dribbling, don't expect too much from him.

Best player today is Igoh, if this guy should pair ozornwafor next game and with that oforborh in the midfield we may finally get rid of those unnecessary long balls. This team is still shit and needs lot of reshuffle.

see no matter the brush, if they don't have the experience there's nothing anybody can do I believe there are genuine young professionals in our league just that the coach wasn't painstaking enough in his search

NIGERIA HAS QUALIFIED

How?

Nigeria are ahead of 2 other teams who have finished 3rd thus far.

Poland 4pts +3GD
Nigeria 4pts +2GD
Ecuador 4pts -1GD
Norway 3pts +8GD.

We have 2 more teams to join the List of 3rd placed teams.
We are definitely finishing among the best 4 third placed teams. No permutations can change that.

He does not have any qualities to become a better lb. Polishing is too late now. This is an Enyimba first team player. As old as he is, his decision making with the ball is very poor coupled with his poor defensive positioning. His leadership of the team on the pitch alone is a let down.

I agree about Sadiq but you are dead wrong about the penalty. For him to even go 100 yards near that ball after missing took guts and it took bigger balls to still maintain the same side.

I wasn't too impressed by Tijani but u can't run away from the fact that he won both penalties and his goal got us in the next round.
