I thought of this the moment i saw the pix i remember it was not long ago that imo state under Rochas got new government house. I used to like Ihedioha and i had been thinking he would do well if given a chance, unfortunately he is starting on a bad note which is threatening my confidence in him.
He denied not having hand in demolishing the monument built by Rochas but he has spent two days inspecting what they report to be government house toilet, bedroom etc with his pix well captured.

Honestly when I saw those pix, I started loosing confidence in him. A good leader does not start by discrediting his predecessor no matter how bad the person was that does not tell good of him, and it is the same thing that Wike has been doing in Rivers state for the 4 yrs now, he has continued to blame Amaechi. It is also the thing Buhari has been doing for the past 4 yes, blaming Jonathan's administration

So who should we believe now? does it mean the building the governor was inspecting was not the governor's lodge Mr Okorocha constructed?

So who is lying now between the new Governor and the ex Gov..?

Kai, Ihedioha should try and rebuild that Akachi tower. It's too bad he is starting this way. That Akachi is a monument. Rochas did not destroy any structure built by Ohakim rather he completed the ones he could not finished like the Orlu road flyover and trade and investment center due to limited time.

Ihedioha is getting it wrong, government should be for continuity, look at where they get it wrong and fix it right not destroying the good ones they put on ground. Those status may have received outright criticism but people still cherish them as they serve as tourist attractions. These are the things we travel to Europe and America to see. Why should we destroy the little ones we have.

And Ihedioha should stop denying that he was the person that demolished it. Let he accept his mistake and apologize to Imolites. He claimed it was angry Imolites that pulled it down while from a picture I saw it was destroyed by a single bulldozer under a supervision of government officials. And a call to Owerri confirmed that he was the one who pulled it down after series of inspections. And the area was surrounded with military men during the demolition so as to prevent any attack from angry Imolites who might not be happy with the action.

Ihedioha's victory then was due to Rochas greed to install his relative. I don't think Imo people like Ihedioha.
