China has run a lot of steel, aluminium, solar panel, rare earth extractive industries out of business by manipulating n disrupting the global market to their advantage....

Chinese govt banned giant internet companies in china so they can build their own internet companies....

No serious govt will sit down and allow China make a mess of its economies....

But the fact still remain China didn't force anyone to open factories in its country....
Foreign companies willingly relocated their manufacturing supply to supply because of cheap labour......
So why attack them in the first place for what they not responsible for....
Why can't trump order the greedy capitalist in wall street, silicon valley and Chicago to stop investing in china....
Why can't it tell Wal-Mart and other retail giant to find alternative supplies for their business....
He should insist American companies stop moving their manufacturing to China....

American govt should invest in R&, increase scholarship for STEM programs in universities to discourage neck breaking students loans, encourage retraining of blue-collar workers who seem to have been left behind, invest in American declining physical infrastructure, encourage made in america via innovation and new technology.....
This is what trump should do rather than attacking China....
Trump has got the diagnosis right but his overall management of the problem is wrong....
It's likely both China and their American culprits will simply wait out trump's tenure and then return to business as usual....

If only you knew how much money those two bad boys generate for the United States monthly.

The United States is still the most innovative country in the world. Nobody's arguing about that. The thing however, is that other countries are improving their game. Who would've thought Huawei ( a Chinese company ) would be years ahead of the Mighty United States in terms of 5G? Nobody! But that's the reality the world has come to accept. Isn't it?

When a relationship goes south, the parties involved go their separate ways. If the United States hadn't been blinded by corporate greed, it would have long ceased doing business with China. But the allurement of cheap Chinese labour was too good to pass up! Like I mentioned earlier,the relationship between the United States and China is a completely symbiotic one which is often frosty and complex but beneficial to both countries nonetheless.

Everyone knows Trump is after Huawei because of Huawei's surprising lead in the race for 5G dominance. It's crystal clear that America is lagging way behind Huawei in terms of 5G technology. And that isn't a spot POTUS is happy about. What America should be doing as the great nation that it is is to invest heavily in its 5G R& rather than trying to bring Huawei down.

As for those saying us should ban there companies from manufacturing from China.
It is not easy, because China's competitive advantage is low cost manufacturing.
It is cheaper to produce goods in China than in any other part of the world.

China cannot be overlooked.
They have the second best economy in the world. China's middle class is almost the size of US population, over 300million, which is another goldmine, because the middle class have money to spend.
Analyst are projecting Chinese economy to surpass US in the next 10 years.

In addition they are now rapidly growing within the technological space, to the extent Huawei became global leader in 5G technology.
All these threats is why present US administration is coming hard against them. Because if they are not checkmated, nobody will see there back again.

after doing small research of all the top pharmaceutical companies running things in nigeria, american pharmaeutical companies take like less down 10% of the market.

the likes of emzor, glaxosmith, may and baker etc are not even american companies that can comply with any embargo and most of them ship equipments to manufacture drugs from china anyway.

the only place america can hurt nigeria is through their HIV/AIDs support programs. and that would be hitting below the belt.
