Can someone please state what's left of the Rom upon unboxing of either the Redmi note 7 32G version and the Redmi 7 32GB and 64GB version. I'm confused because I just saw that of lenovo k5 pro 64GB version and the remaining rom size is 51GB.. That's a fair deal at least... Mind you I can only try to afford the 32GB redmi note 7 version... I can't exceed that budget

Minus between 4-8Gb from 32Gb ±

@ fibonacci2526, noboody, macbeyland, protein0, new redmi note 7 pro screen just fell and shattered during unboxing embarassed. how much for screen replacement please
Jeez. How na? What kind of fall would shatter it like that?
Kai, sorry. You would struggle to get follow come screen with the same quality as the original one. If the touchscreen is still working, you might be better off using it like that for now.

Lets look for the thief, he should come and carry the 3.5mm jack port
Lol, the thief took my problems and he has no idea. At a point i became fed up with the device after it developed that fault, answering calls, listening to music or anything that relates to sound feedback became too technical. Once u make use of earpiece and remove it, every sound coming from the phone becomes dead mute like a mime. To get back sound from the speaker again, I had to do FQC test on speaker to get it working again consecutively. sad

Ok, plug am again if the issue continue, just hold power button for as long as 15 seconds and see if it helps, otherwise golf power button and volume down or up at thesame time. If e nr still work, then open up the phone from the back cover and remove the power plug, plug am back, then power on the phone or charge am. You fit see how to open up the phone from YouTube, very easy.

Test point I guess

Your submission was right, just my curiosity made me ask that question, in context to the bolded

NB- you gave him a good advice and i agree with you ok.

Many of us never truly listen to our instinct, nothing can ever happen to you, without your instinct giving you a sign ahead, we Don't just listen.

We can't be safe 100% anywhere in the world, misfortunes happen, but most of the time we should learn to follow and listen to our instinct, no matter the cost

Just like the the Prof, that always criticize Nigeria, and saying we don't have a life here, and life may be pluck out of you anytime in Nigeria, claim how safe he was on Canada, and guess what, he died on a plan crash.

Like the popular saying goes SOMETHING MUST KILL A MAN
I agree with you.

Heeeeeeeeeeennnnnnnn, I'm using Redmi 7 Global ROM, updated my phone last week and i got this dark theme. Nha you understand where you got your eu rom from.
Go to your about device, screenshot it and post here. That dude was using, Xiaomi.eu rom. EU rom has had full system dark mode for like 2 months now.
Have you seen it, it's down there Xiaomi.eu, it's not the main MIUI rom.

Do share you findings after exploring

So I played a little with the FTP feature in xiaomi file manager.

I setup a wifi hotspot using another phone,
connected my RN7 to the hotspot, then started the ftp on the RN7. It generated an ftp link ip address.
I opened the link in the phone hosting the Hotspot and I was able to browse and download all the contents of the RN7. Below are observations so far:

1) the phone running the ftp (ie the RN7) cannot also host the hotspot
2) I could not restrict the ftp to just a particular folder
3) I have the option to use a password in the ftp although this failed most of the time
4) apparently, any device connected to the same Hotspot or network as the ftp can open the ftp link and access the full contents of the RN7
5) the ftp feature is cool but the download is not as fast as file transfer using Xender or MI drop grin

So I just discovered this yesterday. Very excellent feature. I am setting up the SOS right away. Xiaomi being very innovative like Samsung, LG, Apple and Oneplus. grin
