Well, if true, this is for me more evidence of the repercussions of the unmeasured and continuall cussing of Nigeria that Nigerians and others have made a habit. These endless denigrating of Nigeria is leading to generation of Nigerians that are beginning to feel inferior to all external forces such as: living, peoples and competition, but when in Nigeria they feel entitled. For example, these footballers, in their roles as inferior beings, could not compete with foreign teams having already lost mentally. Yet, in the Nigeria sphare, they are mentally entitled since the trend among Nigerians and others is to heap all blame on Nigeria, calling her shithole and making it seem as though Nigeria is the worst place in the world by the selective use of world statistics that are in any case bogus. It is no wonder then that these players, in their role as entitled to no blame when Nigeria can be expected to receive all blame, would act without sense of honour or national pride and be self seeking. After all, those that call themselves Nigerians keep on encouraging soldiers to abscond, telling them that Nigeria is not worth fighting for. The general sense being all that counts is to take what you can from Nigeria and don't look to give any thing back.

When u see a team, it's easy to know if they were chosen on merit. Those guys even felt comfortable playing rubbish. I fear for this country. Every section is corrupt from family, community, religion institutions, education sectors, electric sector, building and construction, health, legislative, executive, judiciary arms,transportation sector, bb9ja, mtn project fame, headies award , nollywood and so many I can't even think of right now. I don't think any government can stop corruption except every citizen is given complete re-orientation.

This set of U-20 Nigerian team is a total disgrace. The players were simply lazy. I watched the match against USA. I was just shaking my head. They lacked zeal. I began to wonder, just driving around Lagos, I see hungry young guys playing on patched fields, sometimes even under rain or intense sun with great passion for the game.
Now in a tournament watched by scouts from the best of clubs in the world, then they exhibit laxity. What really happened? Is this the best u-20 the coach could assemble? Or the normal Nigerian factor of bribery and corruption set in.

Those boys are unbelievable. I just hope they have not been given any bonus before their last match. Otherwise, they should be made to refund every single penny given to them in the past.
