I still don't understand why a final should be played twice(As in Home and Away)

Imagine the UEFA Champions League final being played Home and Away

why do you pay different toll fare for suv and sedan? Is all about the money!

Fortunately can't even remember the last time I watched an African champions league match.
This is the kind of laughable and comical decisions that denigrates most African leagues and competitions.

Fist of all, i keep saying this, many Nigerians dont know much but will always jump into consideration. First, u need to understand that not only caf plays 2 leg champions league. Why? Europe is small in size and evenly developed. Africa, Asia and others who use two leg finals are extremely large. In fact, u can easily travel by road in Europe but how many can do same in Africa and Asia?

If Ahly is playing Orlando Pirates of south africa in a final, and the match is to be played in Garbon, how many south africans who are supporting Orlando pirate can travel to Garbon? How many can afford it?

Africa, Asia are extremely large and that was why most other continents use 2 leg finals. I think south america does same. Europe is very small. Pls, even though we know Africa get issues, we shouldnt be ignorant of basic realities..

Like many have been saying why committee met in Paris. This was an emergency meeting and it is not easy getting the exco to appear for a meeting that wasnt planned before. So, CAF used the meeting that FIFA organised in Paris to have a caf emergency meeting. Many associations have done this before including fifa. so no big deal.

Finally, if Europe was doing 2 leg finals, and caf is doing 1 leg final, im sure u would av insisted on 2 leg finals. lol

Africa is large, caf tried it but it didnt work. Final was played in an empty stadium and sponsors didnt like that.

Seriously, i do not support a rematch. Football is full of human errors. No be today and VAR is not a must as of today.

There have been heart breaking referee errors that made fans cry and teams weep, but walking out of a match is a total trash and wydad should be banned for this.

I think i can only support this rematch if CAF will accept the responsibility of ever bringing a faulty VAR to the game. Yes, and since the goal was a legitimate goal, i can support the following:

1. the match replayed perfectly in a neutral ground with both first and second leg matches canceled.

2. The referee should be sanctioned for making such useless error and sent out for retraining and banned for long time with out pay.

3. Esperance should pay fine for conducive environment. The stadium was too tensed. It was like a war front. Gosh!

4. Wydad be banned after the rematch. At least one year ban is fair enough! Walking out from a football match becus you felt injustice must be discouraged else, any error by referee, clubs will stage a walk out. That is nonsense. There are useless human errors even in Europe and fifa.

5. All staff involved in the malfunctioned VAR be banned and a new rule to ensure that a VAR works and inspected by both teams officials be enacted.

Make them dey mumu them self d go. That show of shame would have been avoided if the final was was played once...its completely unnecessary to me.

When I was thinking the moroccans will get at least 5 year ban on continental football. How can you walk out on a match and final for that matter, we have seen way much bias in some football games and as professional they still finished the game. North Africans are very silly with der entitlement of always getting favours. If this is true, which I doubt, CAF will be a total shame to the continent
