Even if you are partisan please follow the rule of law. Even INEC have laid down rules for political parties guiding them against hate speech. What we all want is a united Nigeria. Therefore no one, no organisation is greater than the peace and oneness of Nigeria. |

aolawale025:everything is right here, the thing here is we don't cry foul of everything. all infraction shouldn't to closure but not when an individual, corporate individual or entity or agency keep flouting rules and regulations over and over again like who would hold me responsible. dopesi and daar ain't above the laws. |

mrbock:Disagreeing with a trade ( or even a real) war is not the same thing as inciting citizens against the country. Even claiming the USA and Israel are terrorists killing Palestinians is also not incitement, it's a personal view. Even trump during his presidency had liken US gulf wars to terrorist action. Compare this statement to the examples you are quoting; Nigeria is cursed, we declare independent state of Niger Delta”, " Nigeria irritates me”, etc. |

Ultimatezlant:Nope! The difference is that the US is led by enlightened/civilized folks and its government respect diversity of opinions (and the rule of law)... Conversely, in this country of ANYHOWNESS, despite the CONSTITUTIONAL GUARANTEES of freedom of speech and OPINION (Ch. 4, Section 39(1) of the Constitution), as well as the freedom to own, establish and operate any media for the dissemination of ideas and OPINION (Ch. 4, Section 39(2)), some uncouth political appointee and mouthpiece will wake up one day and seek to crassly censor OPINIONS that he (or his political paymasters) do not like. And worse, some citizens who should know better would publicly support such a rape of our Constitution and the RIGHTS provided and guaranteed therein. I weep for this SICK nation when I see citizens voluntarily grab their ankles to be sodomized. > |

mrbock:Yes, for a radio and TV station operating very under a government license. They are only using social media as an excuse for propagating their political views. Why air those views? Whatever view you want to hold you will find it on social media. If you want views on paedophiles, murderers, rapists, etc, you will find it on social media. That does not give you the rights to propagate them. |

mrbock:u can read people's comment on social media, but avoid those that propagate hated speeches and inciteful statement.... haven't u see radio and TV stations that read comments and stop halfway, then jump to the next comment when they sense hate speeches |

martineverest:hitting @ a particular individual is different from attacking an entire tribe or ethnic group. this would rather be tension brewing mechanism than journalism. |

wirinet:Statements made on CNN A California Congress man, said they don't accept the election result and that California should break away from the US CNN job has been to incite the people against the govt. That's just the fact Van Jones on CNN, this election result is a manifestation of deep rooted racist behavior of White Americans. it's was a whitelash. Latino, black, gay etc should be afraid Bros you just have to watch a Don Lemon segment on CNN to see pure undiluted hate speech |

Bizlifelines201:You wrote nicely but your reasoning is faulty and appeared to be affected by Nigeria's mentality. For anybody or any government to function effectively, there must be criticisms that can only achieve the desired result through these media outlets. we should be comfortable being brainwashed and spoonfed with what the government wants us to hear on NTA. One of the worst things you can do to anyone is take away his freedom of speech. be guided. |

iammo:Depends on the context those guys just say stuff for kick usually off topic so they don't apply in this scenario. Are you trying to insinuate that they go out of their way to pick ridiculous comments that don't relate in anyway to the subject matter? |
