Bizlifelines201:https://www.sunnewsonline.com/ait-ray-power-court-summons-nbc-agf-over-closure/ From this report from sun newspaper, there was no May 30 and status quo should be maintained as said by justice Ekwo. I wonder where the writer the OP quoted got his May 30 from. |

Yes thats the mischevious interpretation that favours NBC. The truth However is that with the Addition of "ante bellum"..."Status quo ante bellum", the mischevious interpretation cannot stand. Status quo ante bellum means the state of affairs before the war... This means before "the act of war" of licence revocation. The order therefore is for the licence to be restored pending the hearing of the substantive motion on notice AfonjaBoston: |

Dont be ridiculous! The NBC act does not have an ouster clause. Even if it did, no law can oust a citizen's constitutional right of appeal. That law would, be null and void, to the extent of its, unconstitutionality Alzirida: |

Udantu:. why are Channels and TVC not shut down? Answer: Both still strives to maintain objectivity though not in a perrfect way..Unlike the two AIT is owned by a PDP stalwart and its presentations are anti government. |

sonofElElyon:"They are to appear on June 13 to show cause why they should not been restrained, from blocking, jamming, stopping, removing from the air and/or interfering with the airwaves of the plaintiff/applicant in any way and manner howsoever, in its broadcast and airing of news, views, documentaries, or any other legitimate broadcast material that is usually associated with television, radio or social media broadcast pending the hearing and determination of the motion on notice filed along with this application". This is a cut out from the sun newspaper which I sent a link earlier. I didn't see any May 30 mentioned anywhere. Moreover, from the first sentence in the cut out from the link I provided from the Sun newspaper, the NBC, AGF and the MoIC were told to appear before the judge on June 13 to explain why they should not be restrained from from blocking, jamming etc of AIT meaning that the blocking, jamming etc holds till they are to explain to the judge why they shouldn't be restrained. |

cybersoldiers:. I respect your opinion but as a person I am yet to understand the concepts of Fulanisation and islamitisation of Nigeria with its tribal and linguistic complexities .No man can achieve that....It is an exercise in futility. |

Paperwhite: Yes, it is back. You have used democracy to loot, steal and destroy our treasury and to tell us that Buhari will ruen everybody in Nigeria to Islam. Since democracy did not work, we are now testing civilian dictatorship. Let's try civilian dictatorship with General Muhammadu Buhari. |

AfonjaBoston:Justice Inyang Ekwo on Friday ordered the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC), the Federal Ministry of Information and Culture, the Attorney General of the Federation to revert back to state of affairs before May 30, 2019. Status Quo before May 30. Before May 30, ait was operational, so that is the status quo to be maintained. |

Paperwhite:Me, I'm happy. Daar Communication is fake and should be shot forever. Dokpesi is fraud. I bought shares of Daar Communication in 2005 or thereabouts but till today No Certificate, No Refund. From available evidence, those that have certificate are yet to receive the first one naira as dividend. Daar Communication has never declared dividend and it will never be because it's a fraudulent company. Is he paying workers? The issue of 2.1 billions from Security Adviser, Dokpesi opened a separate account for it called Daar Holding and he expended the money under 3months. Shareholders would have been paid dividend from such business that brought 2.1billions but because it was a shaddy deal hence the reason for opening a different account to warehouse such loot. God is watching all of us, Dokpesi will definitely reap what he sown many years ago...........even to the time Lagosians contributed 50k each to assist him when his station got burnt. We're watching. |

There is interim order / injunction given on the BASIS of ex parte application and interlocutory order / injunction based on motion on notice. The first is to last till the motion on Notice is heard while the second is to last till final determination of the matter when a final judgement will be given. The status quo ante bellum order is interim order / injunction while the one to be given on June 13 is the interlocutory order / injunction Yyeske: |

ejimatic:Ray Power Political platform is a time to condemn every step taken by Buhari. Look at AIT Ijeoma Democracy Today or what sef, showing daily at 7.30pm. Very unfair program to Buhari government. You can't compare it with Seun Okinbaloye Channel TV Politics Today where he always invite Apc and Pdp to maintain balanced defence. Daar Communication should be apolitical. The staff should be reorientated and watch TVC Journalist Hangout Babajide. AIT should stop carrying out the pilot dictates of Dokpesi. If Dokpesi was such a good leader as you people claim, why has PDP denied him position in all his contest. First, he resigned from Daar Communication to contest Senatorial, he lost. Secondly, he wanted to be PDP Chairman. He was the only one that visited the 36 states with TV cameras following him everywhere but what did he get for the trouble? Failure. Secondus was picked. Dokpesi should have a rethink because he's above 70. |
