At First i was angry cos i didn't get the invitation mail for documentation and medicals... Little did i know that God's plan is Just so perfect. I am still serving, will be rounding up next month.(batch B stream 1). if i have gotten the mail with the first batch there won't have been any NYSC discharge certificate to show. I thank God for putting me in the next batch....

I believe so yes, that is likely a 'settledown we gatchu' kinda mail.
I also don't think everyone that went for AC got a mail, NL is too small and skewed a sample to assume that.
Documail was sent by a FBN recruitment officer, there is speculation that the next batch will come after this batch is either done or rounding off. So calculate from 17th the tentative TS start date and before the end of the 3rd month, it should happen.

Well, the friend of mine has done his documentation/medicals.

If he's smart he can convince them that he wants to go with the next batch which will probably resume around September. It's in God's hands.

That, nevertheless, his issue would be raised and discussed within the HR team, and they would communicate the feedback to him if he can still resume or be kept on probation, or if the Bank can wait for him to be done by September.

So, guess it's in God's hand now, and we have a feeling he would be pushed to the next batch to allow him time to provide the Discharge Certificate.

Just to clarify... I'm finishing my NYSC on June 13th and training school is on June 17th that is why I was allowed to do documentation and medicals. Alot of people have been asking me questions relating to this documentation for those still serving, I hope this answers it all.

I think your friend should call them and ask to be moved to the next batch. He should not take that risk because it's clearly stated that 'must have completed NYSC" in the requirements for the job. Just to be on the safe side tho, he should not trust these HR.

'Not to trust these HR' I just want to advice we try not to make strict/harsh statements when trying to give valuable contribution. Especially when it comes to social media.

This NL page is very specific and the people who want you/will hire you has been very considerate even from the inception of this recruitment process.


Just say simple in your statement. You don't know them, so u can't just give a verdict about them.
