I agree 100% Nigerians deserve their leaders. Nigerians shout "we have poor leaders" up and down but support and vote into office known (with evidence) corrupt politicians because he/she shares same tribe with the thief. Nigerians shout our leaders are corrupt but will steal from their bosses, mark up prices of project and support yahoo yahoo boys. Nigerians don't hold their leaders accountable. Nigerians create a fertile environment for corrupt politicians to thrive. It's only in Nigeria where a convicted criminal in a country where rule of law works comes home runs for office and becomes a notable politician. The Westerners are not better than Nigerians in terms of corruption, a Western politician too will steal if he can. The difference? 8/10 times they can't get away with it. Like it or hate it, we are not ready for good governance that we, as Nigerians truly deserves. I don't like this woman as a person (my choice though) but what she has said, is the truth and for years now, has remained a FACT looking at the way we have accepted a lot of wrong doings as a norm. Governance is an art that requires a large or excessive amount of skills. One needs to have the right observation, right perception and right expression to be an able administrator. It requires the right balance of sensibility and sensitivity. One needs a sound analytical mind to make judgments and also the ability to connect with people of all backgrounds.
