And here is Naira Marley been charged to court for ordinary card found on him

Dude, being in possession of someone's credit card details without their permission isn't just an "ordinary" case. Buhari is incompetent but Naira Marley is a pilferer - a thief!

What is good for the goose is good for the gander. Make dey release Naira Marley too. I don't support fraud but I hate selective judgement.

Naira Marley's case is bigger than you and I, the EFCC or even the federal government. It's about Nigeria's reputation beyond our shores. If Naira Marley is let off easily, the western media would manipulate it to mean the Nigerian society endorses fraud.

Someone has to be sacrificed on that alter of reputational credibility . Sadly, Naira Marley has to be that lamb. He's perfect for it - he's an artiste who embodies the affluence of such fraudsters and he's famous.

For your sake, mine and your buddies doing good around the world, Naira Marley has to be 'sacrificed', even if he gets a 4-month jail term.

You do have a good point premised on reputation but I believe the reputation you talk about is long torn by public service corrupt practices. Buhari, or the EFCC are not the best of persons to fix the already torn reputation. Come with clean hands if you must come to equity.

We have to do something. South Africans, Ghanaians and whites bring up Naira Marley's issue when there are inter-country e-fights on Twitter. That means the world is watching. Naira Marley has to be sacrificed. I have nothing against him but he has to be sacrificed. I don't mind if he's canonized afterwards but on this case, he has to be sacrificed.

Magnitude of offence,...Naira Marley may escape. Nobody has come up to say he defrauded them. The few evidences or witnesses against are those yet to be presented by master card.
However, Goje's fraud is very glaring #25billion.
The crime Ibori commited was well punished by UK government but he would have been able to maneuver if the said country was Nigeria. Up till now, Ibori still has large number of followers and even political god-father to some upcoming politicians.

Without restructuring, corruption can never end. The power to prosecute should not lie where it presently is. You can imagine if someone like Donald Trump had all the power that our HOS has...

With all the opposition in the US HoR is democracy not working in the States even with a President that has limited powers. What more power and so called cooperation does our President want or need from the Legislature that he already does not have in this weakened and institutionally porous State.

Except that I suspect there are some very unpopular and defining laws he wants made or removed that only a rubber stamp could do.

We are treading on very dangerous grounds. Something is coming round the corner we may be not expecting. Why the desperation to control the Legislature when the Constitution already gives you this much power, your party has a majority and the Judiciary is purged of all contrary interests.

Don't worry.
Goje is going to bless you with his senatorial allowance.
In fact the 25 billion he stole would be used to build a house for your parents.

Don't mind those flat heads.

Danjuma Goje has just been baptized by stepping down for Lawan .... So, he is free and made whole from all allegations levelled against him by the EFCC..
Lesson learnt: If you can't beat the crowed, please join them before they send you to early grave ..
Goje is wise enough to have taken such decision

That's the opportunity cost on the part of FG.

The negotiation was really good for Goje.

So, Buhari is sacrificing 25b public money for Lawan to become Senate President?

Victory for democracy and rule of law.

How is this victory for Democracy and Rule of Law?

How does stepping down a corruption case of about 8 years, from the designated anti corruption agency to the Ag. overnight, after he stepped down for APC's favoured Lawan, constitute 'victory for democracy'?

You shouldn't endorse or label impunity as democracy just because you support a politician or a party. Only zombies do that.
