Go for welding. In it,you can be self employed unlike crane operator that will demand huge capital to start up. Also, the job opportunities that abounds for a welder is prevalent than a crane operator.

After two years, what will be left of him as a crane operator? He has to start all over again by looking for work and the same circle continues? But being a welder, he can employ and train others.

I will advise you to go for welding though both are good. You could get a long contract for both that will swell your bank account.

forget the comparison.... welding technician is the real deal.... but make sure you're certified either in high altitude welding, high pressure welding or OGSF welding (oil and gas surface facility welding) you're really good to go!!!

PS. anticipate my blog coming soon in a couple of weeks.... we'll be expatiating on a lot of things including but not limited to career in the oil and gas sector.

I'm telling you...welding technicians are hot cakes!!!

It's more profitable than welding, If you can put your head down and learn professionally...
At the first place you are not supposed to compare a crane operator with welder.
Crane operators are big bois na.
