MyMouth: But at dis point, APC as a party confused because they have no credible candidate to replace Yahaya Bello. In that case, he might likely retain as the flag bearer. |

OhiOfIhima:I don't expect any opinion different from this because your name has said it all and that is what is killing Kogi State. If APC is confused, Kogi State is not confuse because APC is not Kogi State and most Kogites knows Yahaya no dey try. |

lolssss I can feel the agony in the minds of Kogites here on NL because of the failure of one certain Bello as their governor and some even opted to vote a big instead of Bello which they describe as calamity. they attack anybody who tries to exonerate and campaign for Bello. pls my people as you are pained for forcing Bello down your throat that was the same feeling we had when you Zombies force The dullard down our throat during general election so what goes around comes around. 4+4 for Bello. Bello must complete his 8 years in office. he has done well for you people, at least he fought your enemy Dino Melaye for four good years and made him cry like a baby. You can hug the closest transformer if you don't like Bello. |

Re: Tunde Ajibulu: Yahaya Bello Lacks Knowledge Of Kogi Politics by manofguts: 9:45pm On Jun 09, 2019 |
At the height of the drama, many reasoned that it would be a logical decision to give Bello the mantle of leadership: (1) he is young - considered a youth who had the feelings and aspirations of the suffering populace (2) that as an appendage to Audu, who virtually won but lost his life, it would be the greatest opportunity to serve in a position Bello was earlier a selected deputy. These among several reasons gave many people, and indeed Kogites, the hope that the era to enjoy the dividends of democracy from a sitting youth governor, had just begun. Sadly, like Olusegun Obansanjo who forgot his travails in the hands of the Dragon master - Abacha- Yahya Bello chose to turn the other way. After all, no one voted via the normal process he now prefers to go the way of a stray goat. We can make several analogies with the ruling of Yahaya Bello with words like surrogate, de facto role, etc. In fact, it beats my imagination why some people soon forget the saying that "whom the gods want to punish, they first make mad." Most people where contented with the credentials of Bello as a young, rich energetic, and a fresh politician. Unfortunately, he has chosen to use his strength, his youthful vibrancy, and his wealth against the harmless, poor, and crying people. The ends of the wicked are usually tragic. The administration of this evil of a Nebuchadnezzar called Yahaya will surely come to an abrupt but disappointing end |

bixton: It does not matter. When he became governor, he started by trying to weed out ghost workers which was a laudable exercise. But he has over done it because even pensioners are screened every month. They can’t send a representative, so the elderly or sick are carried to the venue causing pain and inconveniences. As per the salary, he paid two months salary in full, then he took a cue from his predecessors and started playing truancy with the people’s salary or paying 20%. We expected better from Bello because he seemed younger, more educated and more enlightened than his predecessors. Only to find out that he is just a stooge. For someone who governance just fell into his life without putting in the effort, we thought he would treat his position with the gravity, dignity, passion and diligence that it deserves. His predecessors were horrible, but he is no better. |
