Three-time African champions, the Super Eagles of Nigeria yesterday landed in Ismailia, 12 days ahead of the kick-off of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations to be staged in Egypt.

The Super Eagles left the shores of Nigeria few hours after the Technical Adviser of the team, Gernot Rohr released names of the 23 players who will prosecute the championship for Nigeria.

Meanwhile Super Eagles really need to up there game.

It's high time this AFCON tournament be stage every four years with 24 countries contending inorder to make it competitive and interesting. African football is proliferated already.

But the omission of Tyrion Ebuehi is what I don't understand... Is he injured?..
He's far more better than Shehu

Egypt and other North African/Middle East countries weather are currently not friendly for outdoor events at the moment. I wonder how our team will survive it since they are not used to such weather. If all these our North African countries should host this tournament at this time of the year they should adopt this Qatar system of the air-condition open stadium.
