You don't know what you're talking about! When the news first came out, 90% of America was against them, from media to white and black neighborhoods. It's just like what's happening today when the media portrays black men as angry and dangerous. Trump was just one of the popular figures who out of ignorance or outrage spoke his mind, that does not make him RACIST! Keep in mind I'm not saying he's not racist in general in fact 90% of Americans are racists(white or black)! All I'm saying is that this particular issue had nothing to do with racism but public outrage, my grandfather, my uncles, their friends all condemned the boys when the news came out via media but as time went on and the truth came out they began to see things differently, does this make them racist? Hell no, we are all pawns being manipulated by the media!

I'm an independent, both parties have failed the people. There are few black conservatives because true black nature is anything but conservative. It's no secret that as blacks we love flashy things, we are moved by quick success and freedom. So when one party promise prosperity, free government assistance, free path to citizenship and the other preaches responsibility, working hard, obeying the law; tell me which one do you think our black Americans would choose?

Furthermore did you know that the Democratic party was the party that encouraged slavery and was against equal rights for colored people? Did you know that the Republican party was the party of Lincoln, the party that ended slavery? When you ask the media and all the liberal fear mongers, they'll tell you well that was the past and that nowadays the parties switched ideologies....LMAO

That said, if we're to judge blacks' love for the Democratic Party by its awuff policies, why are Asian Americans (who IMO are more prosperous and hard working than blacks aka model minority) huge supporters of the Demoractic Party? Based on their characteristics, one will expect them (Asian Americans) to be Republicans.

On the other hand, the GOP has to develop policies to attract more blacks and other minorities as their traditional white supporters base is declining based on birth rates.

Regarding the Southern Strategy, I meant the moves by the Republican party to pacify white people by belittling racism many many years ago to get their votes.
